I have a blog that was intended to update the public on the progress and news releases of the Wilderness Club in Eureka Montana, I have had this site for over a year now and Last Monday the Wilderness Club decided to have an attorney contact me and Demand that I stop using their "good name" so here is my Post on that Blog and links to full size photos of the demand letter they sent to me, this is for your amusement and education.
DEMAND LETTER FROM WILDERNESS CLUB
Well Folks,Apparantley the Wilderness Club in Eureka Montana
is upset that I am telling you about them.
They have sent me a demand letter
to stop talking about them.
Blogs are the news these days.

There are blogs on just about everything.

I will let you know everything that happens along the way and update you daily on what the Wilderness Club is up to. They are really mad that My websites come up higher in the search engines than their websites do, so they have hired an attorney to handle me. I hope this case will be a benefit to Intellectual and Trademark law for all of us. My goal for this site was to inform you about the golf resorts going in the Eureka area but they are trying to stop me from this. The Wilderness Club wants to push around the locals, give us menial jobs, use up our water, cut down all their trees and plant shrubs, ruin our highways with hideous billboards, and they want only ONE real estate broker in charge of all the golf course sales here. All this and they claim to be a benefit for our town. Exclusivity is no benefit for anyone. Read their website, you will have to search hard to find it. They talk about boating access they DO NOT have, they talk about local shows and fine dining and there is NONE. They have promoted Lake Koocanusa and our daylight hours as if they own it. Folks, Lake Koocanusa is a reservoir.

EurekaMontanaNews.com is not affiliated with the Wilderness Club in any way. We are associated with Northwest Montana Media Group and Ten Lakes Realty to report to you the News as we see it.

still NO Shelter for Eureka

Eureka Montana is in a state of emergency

I have blogged about this topic, and I have made efforts to speak with officials on this topic and have found no results.

There is a local group in Eureka Montana that is called the friends of the shelter. This group has been helping animals and animal rights in Eureka Montana for many years. A few months back, Lincoln County Northwest Montana closed their animal shelter in Eureka Montana. They did this without talking to local law enforcement or providing any way for local pets to be provided for.

Lincoln County does not seem to care
about animal rights.
The facility that used to be open allowed
for people to bring in unwanted pets

Yes, people should be responsible and get their animals spayed or neutered, and yes people should find ways to deal with their own situation. But what is happening in Eureka, is that due to the closing of the animal shelter. People are Killing their pets. They are shooting puppies in the head, they are throwing cats and kittens over the Lake Koocanusa bridge, and finding their own creative methods to dispose of unwanted animals.

They do this because there is no where to take these animals. The people that do want to take their animals somewhere and make special effort end up taking them to Kalispell Montana. And this puts a burden on the Kalispell Humane Society system.

I have had problems with neighboring dogs in my yard. I have seen problems with dogs running around the town of Eureka. And the police have been called, but there is no one to really respond. And if there is a situation where a dog actually is picked up, there is nowhere to take these animals. If they take them to the local animal shelter that is closed, there is no way to water them. And the local police do not really know what to do, because the a closing of the animal shelter was just thrown in their lap. What is happening is that
the friends of the shelter is getting calls almost every day to rescue pets.

People call and say they're going to kill their pets, if the friends of the shelter does not come and get them and being a compassionate group the friends of the shelter does go and get the pets. Now this non-profit group that has been helping pets is so overburdened they are about to fold. Lincoln County gets money to control animals, to look out for public interest and public safety, and to look out for the best interest of all.

And yet they are condoning animal cruelty by closing the local animal shelter and therefore there is no where for the animals to go. Lincoln County is not listening. Libby does not understand what Eureka is going through, because they are not hearing about the pet situation. However, the pets that are being killed, being saved by the friends of the shelter, and in the ones that end up in shelters in Kalispell are not pets that Libby Montana hears about or has to be concerned with.

This is a state of emergency. There has been complaints but nobody is standing up for the rights of the pets. We need help. We need an animal shelter in Eureka Montana. We need good clean water for the shelter, we need food for the shelter, we need strong volunteers. And we need a facility in which the humans taking care of the animals can be in a sanitary and healthy situation themselves. Even when the local animal shelter was open. The employee at the facility did not have a restroom.

This situation seriously needs
addressed and needs immediate action.

There is a Beautiful River Walk Here

lots of money went into created a walk along
