Why Not Preventative Medicine

What about Preventative Medicine?

Eureka needs Real Cures, not another building to give out prescriptions to kill the symptoms, cover up the cause, and create more problems.

Medical Centers, and lots of money wanted to create more, is NOT really what Eureka needs.

Eureka needs a pool, a public gym, a bigger health food store with lots of organics and a juice bar, folks need to take care of the cause of the health problems and not buy into the band aid. Create more trails, more bike riding areas, more ways to REALLY be Healthy, for real and for the Long Term... without the Magic Pills given out by the Medical Clinic.

I understand that "Eureka is Underserved" in the health care area, however, a 2 million dollar facility to hand out prescriptions should also include preventative medicine and monies to fund things in eureka that contribute to a healthy society and not just monies to fund a medical center for main stream medical doctors.

Learn all you can folks about the Health Care industry, find a way to get your body alkaline, and cure yourself of your ailments. Mammograms are said to cause cancer. Biopsies are said to spread cancer. Learn more at www.CancerSolutions.org and www.Cancer-Solutions.org

If this facility will not be offering thermography - ask why. If they don't offer counciling and information on treating the "cause" rather than the symtom ask why. It is your right to be healthy, and though the health care system will only pay if you do it their way, your life is literally at stake here, take charge.

Having family members with brain tumors, osteoporosis, cancer, emphysema, diabetes,chronic pain, polups, colon cancer and more. I get it.. the thing is You don't have To Die From it, REALLY... and You don't have to SUFFER just because the health care industry says you do.

I know that the health care system basically says diet will never cure this, only chemo will -they say that diet has never cured cancer... google it, find the people who have REALLY done it.

They say for osteoporosis, no diet or exercise change necessary, NOT TRUE... the Days of Just go home and make yourself comfortable are seriously over.

You can fight, you can be well, you can be Pain Free, if ONE person anywhere in the world cured themselves of these dis-eases they say you have, than why can't you. Don't take anyone's word for it, Your Quality of Life is Up to You... Find Out more. And take charge of your destiny and quality of life.

2 MILLION dollars, My Goodness, what one could do with that kind of money in improving the Quality of Life of those who live in Eureka. Prescription Drugs take Away your Quality of Life. I am NOT a doctor, thank god. I am not trying to give you advice in any way.

Please DO NOT listen to Me, Find OUT for yourself - You Deserve to Know. There are thousands upon thousands of people curing themselve for Real - you CAN have your life back without supporting a 2 Million dollar medical facility that is AFTER your money. The health care industry is publicly traded and they want MONEY, they are like an insatiable beast needing every cent you have or every cent you represent that medicaid, medicare, and your insurance company will pay them. THEY say where is the proof that Natural Cures work - I say where is the REAL proof that their drugs work, that chemo really works across the board. There really isn't any but hey, why not give it a try, THEY get paid either way....

Nursing Home

Folks, I heard the other day that there are people in the local nursing home that simply Should NOT be there. It was told to me that they have no where to go and family has kinda turned a blind eye. Apparently they "should be out doing stuff" but are stuck in the home. This is VERY sad to me. What can Be done? I mean if it were me I would want someone, somewhere to care enough to help me. I am not sure the situation but I do know that there needs to be more independent living situation, with more dignity and respect given to the quality of life of those who live there.

My high school boss Helen Schagel, use to be in the Nursing, I visited her a couple of times later in my life. She had one leg from Polio as a child. She still owned her own insurance company, next to the theatre and her family owned the local lumber company, where Gwynn Lumber is now. She walked to work every day up main street on her crutches. She was one of the smartest, strongest women I have ever met.

When I went to the grocery store for her, I bought her food for her VERY strict diet.

She ate no sugar, she ate fresh fruits and vegetables, cottage cheese and mostly salads. She was getting around good in her older age and was still one of the smartest people I have ever met.

Once she went into the local nursing home, she was fed HORRIBLE food filled with fake salt, preservatives, chemicals and fat. She went down hill VERY fast. As a young woman I went to visit her, I was not quite as outspoken as I am now and kind of regret not helping her.

She asked me to help her, she said that they would not let her eat the way she wanted and that the food was make her not be able to think straight and her body hurt. She did not want to starve, of course, so she ate it.

For the Last 20 years I have studied alternative medicine and I have read alot of information on foods, and its affect on your mind and pain level. I feel that if your living in a place that controls how you eat, and in a Very BAD way than you are not living in a respectful, dignified manner.

Food is Everything, what you eat and how you eat it is essential to your pain levels, disease levels, mind clarity, and quality of life.

My Guess, this Kind of "institutional food" is cheaper. To me the Bottom Line is "Quality of Life." And NO ONE should get to be in charge of YOUR quality of life.

As with the person in the first part of this post it sounds like because there is not enough money and family did not step in, that this persons quality of life and right to go out and "do stuff" has been taken away when this person does not really need to be in a home, Why?

I hope to know more about this person and I hope to shine a light on how Elders of our community are treated, good or bad... let's find out and together lets give them a voice.

Indian Springs Montana - Turnout?

Did you see the Huge turn out or lane that they are building along the Public Golf course Indian Springs Montana North of Eureka Montana. I don't really get it. We received notice a few years back that the Highway was going to expand and how much land they were going to take. So this HUGE expense will be wiped out unless the Indian Springs Ranch has some special status. It seems to me that the other side of the road would give less visibility.
Other cases such as the Riverstone lodge, they put so much money in so close to the Highway that when the new highway comes through they will unfairly MAKE the land owners across the street give or CHEAPLY sell them their property. Those in the know seem to scramble to do "financial improvements" so as to present a hardship or major financial loss if the highway takes their land. It really creates an unfair situation.

Indian Springs Montana

I am sorry, I just don't get why anyone in their right mind would want to pay for a home on a Public Golf course. Doesn't this mean that the "public" can pretty much walk right by your window or hit a golf ball into your home. It would seem that there is no element of privacy.

If I was a golfer, maybe I would feel differently, its just not for me.

Today I saw the Spec. Home going in at the Indian Springs Golf course, I hear their ads on the radio, I see the ads in the magazine, however, what I don't see is the follow through. It sounds "dreamy" in the ads but in realty it is kind of blah, in person.

The builder of this spec home, it has been said that his construction is inferior, folks make sure you get an "engineered" inspection before you buy. Homes are often time just slapped up, and this particular builder has built a whole lot of Spec homes in the area, go talk to the folks who live in them and see if they are happy, ask around about people who have walked through the homes during construction.

I would not live on a public course for Free. There you are right out in an open field with lots of weeds, and tall grass, your right on the highway where the noise bounces of the hill behind you and right into your house.

I am not saying this to "hurt anyone" I simply want the consumers to know what they are getting into. Take a look behind the drywall before you buy, ask for photos of during construction, ask for drawings, do your own red flags check, get an infrared camera to inspect, get a Home Warranty, get guarantees in writing.

Get it in writing from the builder and the Seller that the Builder is insured and that if you find a Latent Defect or an Adverse Material fact in the future caused by inferior construction, than they will fix the problem at their expense, contact their insurance company BEFORE you buy and make sure that this insurance will intend provide some sort of guaranty that builder is building a home that really will be habitable.

NEVER expect that a Realtor or a Contractors insurance will protect you, I know with Real Estate E and O insurance - the intention is to protect the Realtor and not the consumer, I would guess it is the same in most construction issues.

And in that moment of fear they are made to feel like they cannot even take a day, a week a month to research and make an informed decision on their own behalf. Even though Cancer did not Come over night, they want to Lock you into a FEAR based decision RIGHT NOW.

Please, I beg of you, look around for as many solutions as possible before you listen to those who profit HUGE from experimenting and cutting on your precious, valuable body.

Eureka Construction - Selling a Home to You

Folks remember that Post I did awhile back telling you about those homes around the Eureka Airport that were open to the snow and sleet, they put house wrap on last fall to shut me up but they did not attempt to properly dry the studs.

With ALL homes, new construction or not it would be VERY wise to INSIST that your Home Inspector provide you with a Thermal Imaging Inspection.
This is amazing and will let you know, for sure, what is going on Behind the Drywall. The LESS you let the Builder get away with, the less harm is done to you and your family.

Reputable Builder or not, You,

What is Behind the Drywall.
Folks it Really is Not a Good Thing
that local building get so much moisture before they are
closed up for good, that new doctors office up by the bowling
alley sure did get alot of water, it would be very interested to do a
thermal imaging inspection there. How can mold spores not be
in the walls? No I am NOT a Mold Expert, obviously, but there are
a whole lot of links on the internet that claim, point to or proove that the building envelope should not be closed up until it is thoroughly dried, and not necessarily just sun dried over a long weekend.
