They Were Told To Melt Snow !!!

20 Below Zero, Sick with the Flu and all that Entails.

Residents called the Town of Eureka and said that they were losing pressure, NO one Responding, by late afternoon when called again, as the story is told to me, the Town of Eureka says it is to late in the day to do anything about it. Sick Elderly Residents ask what are they to do, they are told they can get water at Montana Market, and for the Constant Bathroom usage that comes with the Flu.. they were told to melt snow. Sick, 20 Below and they are to Gather Snow. Cruel at Best.

The Town Did not Respond well, People Suffered. Many wish for me to not blame the Town of Eureka, but truly who else is to blame. I for one had no idea at the time that these folks were in need, had I have known I would have delivered water, offered showers, offered housing, the Town Could have done more to reach out and get these people, these tax paying citizens of the town of Eureka help.

The shabby work is one thing, letting people suffer this way in these extreme temperatures is pure torture. If the community had been alerted someone, maybe mass emails through interbel - montana sky, something. We the People of Eureka could have helped them.

Please, Get a Better system in Place so we can help our own when they are in need, 30 to 40 houses I heard. People suffering over christmas in extreme weather and No One to the Rescue... There needs to be a better way to reach out.... In our Small Town there is NO reason for people, especially elderly people to Suffer this Way, when there are able bodies that are willing to help.
