Message To Homeland Security, Lorton Virginia from Blog Owner Crystal L. Cox

My name is Crystal L. Cox, I am a 4th generation Montanan. I was raised in the Tobacco Valley, Eureka Montana. I want Eureka to be a Crime Free Healthy community, with plenty of jobs and for people to be able to live and let live. I feel that bad stuff has gone on for way to long and there is no real accountability. I feel like local law has not really done a good job in following crimes through to prosecution, Real Crimes. And this blog is simply to voice my thoughts, my experiences her over decades and to open discussion on issues long swept under the proverbial Rug.

My intention is not to create any disrespect for Law, Government or those Who are to Enforce the law but simply to tell the truth of what is really going on, what local folks are talking about, what needs are not being met, and to talk about issues that affect our Economy, Quality of Life, Health and Safety here in Eureka - Northwest, Montana.

I do not see the Border Patrol agents here as a safety measure. I do not somehow feel safer because we are a border town, too much bad stuff happens for that. I feel that Drugs, Meth, is big money in Lincoln County and there will be no real way to STOP it, after decades of living here I see no one in a real position to change things actually doing so.

Drugs and Drug dealers here are so obvious, have been for a long time. It is what it is, I do not feel like things are better here after 911 when we had an influx of more border agents. I was hoping to feel safer but in reality I do not... no disrespect intented just my truth for me.

I don't believe that Border Agents really have the power to help us here with the issues that really concern us, I don't expect them to. However, that is what this blog is about to Expose those issues, to bring them out into the light to take a look at them and to possibly make things better for all who live here.

For me personally, The border guards just make me feel like a criminal when I visit Canada, I see the Border Patrol parked under bridges doing nothing, have had them run over my mail box while "Hiding", have shown them real estate On DUTY and have been USED thoroughly in that. I don't find Border agents friendly for the most part. I do get they have to keep to themselves and that is what they are supposed to do, however, we are people, we live here and they are a big part of our community.

I find the 2.5 million latest building purchase for the Homeland Security - Border Guards .. Patrol to be shocking though as a Real Estate Broker ya gotta love the comp.

There are deep historical wounds here to do with STOLEN farmland and FALSE promises by the Corp. of Engineers. We were promised cheap electric among other promises and now what we have a 9 month Dust Bowl, we cannot have docks on the water and well it really is not as Useful as was promised - oh well. Our local Electric board raises the rates when they choose to give them more money, there really was no way to keep the rates down it was a lie. This is just an example as to how far back some of this stuff goes for some folks here.

I have NEVER been into drugs, I have fought for children of Meth Homes and Lost, I have seen decades of incidents where criminals are let out over and over for the same acts. I have no faith in local law and in fact as many here fear them more then have any FAITH that they are truly here to protect us.

As a LOCAL for about 40 years, I have heard story after story of horrible crimes to people of all ages, Children to Elderly and everything in between and no end in sight to the lack of Justice, the ignoring of those screaming for help, the lack of prosecution of horrible crimes and Seemingly No accountability for those who let the criminals go and how they treat the "supposed - alleged victim" in the mean time.

To those of you who visit this site every 2 to 3 days, I want you to know that I am a 38 year old woman who simply wants my town to be Better, wants my friends and family to be REALLY be protected by those who are paid to protect them. I want the good people of Eureka Montana to be heard and I want their Basic Rights to STOP being run over. This includes the rights to good jobs, rights to a fair and honest real estate transaction, rights to not be overrun by large Resorts and Big Money, and the right to simply live without fear of the crimes here coming to their door next and them being the next person to have no real rights.

So I tell the story as I know it, as I hear it in hopes to make things better one day.

I am NOT anti-goverment, I love the United States and All that this implies, I would not want to live in any other country. I want the laws that you good people have put into place to actually be enforced in real life. And I want those local law makers who are paid to ENFORCE those laws to be held accountable for when they break the laws or do not properly enforce the laws that are in place.

I Love Visiting the gorgeous mountains of Canada, I love going - they are so friendly and welcoming, I cringe at coming back for how I am treated at the Border and I have lived here my whole life. I know they gotta be tough but come on really what can Cracking a smile sometimes really hurt, why interrogate us so.

It feels like the criminals get away with everything and I have to feel inferior or "in trouble" somehow just because I wanted to go check out the Awesome Scenery in British Columbia.

I have no disrespect for Our Government or for the Folks at Homeland Security, I simply wish that locally things were ran better and that there was more accountability.

I want things to be more of the Law and Not Against the Law. I want the laws that are in place to actually be enforced. I want the children heard and protected when they are stuck in Meth Home, Sexually abused, beaten and not heard for years on end.. this happens .. here..

I want those brought to justice somehow that beat elderly men for unknown reasons.

I simply want to Speak for Those who No one is Listening to. To Stand up for those who do not have a chance of being heard, and to reach a hand out to help those who are being ignored and hurt emotionally, physically, financially...

Our local Commissioners lie to the People, our local newspaper backs them up and a vicious cycle of crime and some very sick stuff continues.

So as a person who cares what happens to other people even people I do not know, as a person who will not hide under the covers when bad things happen to other people and as a person who is proud to be a law abiding American I ask you why do you watch me, what are you looking for ... I can see you on my sites but the Mystery of it all is unsettling at best, and hey maybe that is the point.

I just want you to know in case your curious what my supposed "agenda" is. I have no agenda, I am simply creating conversations, trying to open eyes and to be a voice in the darkness that some folks are living in.

I have no issue with you, no disrespect for you and only want what is right, decent, of integrity and to live and let live.... and for those who Rape, Rob, Take Photos of Under age Girls and grown woman, those who sell Meth, and those who do despicable things to actually be held accountable for them.. yes I know.. how naive of me...
