a Few Updates and Tidbits
Next, Date Rape Drugging is Stronger than ever, in 2 months it will be a year that have have been talking about this, since then there have been car accidents, people with 3 day hangovers that did not drink much, people taken home by friends while they vomit uncontrollable or are completely limp, people that have been raped, and even worse has happened. There is No End in site, the County will NOT prosecute who they know is guilty of Rape and therefore those Drugging your Drinks in Eureka Montana will continue doing so because they know that even if they do get caught, oh well No One Cares...
Meth, on the Rise? Well Punishment and Accountability is sure Not a Factor.. so ???
The Economy, many are scared, Plum Creek will be another big blow to our community, and seemingly those in high places are offering no solutions to those who are looking to create jobs. Many make money on the internet, Eureka Needs to Teach you how to do this, or is it your job to learn how yourself.. either way Eureka Montana is in a Major Economical Transition.
The Town of Eureka is Now Begging the County to help fix roads, I don't believe the Town of Eureka Spends money wisely, also the Mayor was painting sidewalks to appease our Local Celebrity Realtor, Mike Workman Century 21. Don't think for a minute that Realtors are not a major part of what runs your town, because they are.
Still those in High Places downplay the whole water outage over christmas thing, get the story from those who lived it.. it was a Nightmare, even for those who did not celebrated christmas or have company in town, it was a Severe Hardship and Enough was NOT done, and certainly not fast enough... To use you Bathroom, BUY WATER they say or melt snow, Not seeming to care if your sick if you 60 - 70 or even 80 years old..
Construction seems to have come to a Screeching Halt, some have had to leave town to find work.
oh and News To me, you probably knew, but there was an earthquake yesterday, pictures fell off walls for some in town..
and that Earthquake we had in the Spring of 2006, I did not know that it cracked the Libby Dam and they fixed it.. anyway News to Me is now News to You..
oh and Did I tell you, the Old JB's is to Be a Hardware / Building Supply Store..
Have a Good One..

Just When You Thought it Could Not Get Worst - the Post Office is Short on Funds...
Total mail volume was 202 billion items last year, over 9 billion less than the year before, the largest single volume drop in history.
And, despite annual rate increases, Potter said 2009 could be the first year since 1946 that the actual amount of money collected by the post office declines.
"It is possible that the cost of six-day delivery may simply prove to be unaffordable," Potter said. "I reluctantly request that Congress remove the annual appropriation bill rider, first added in 1983, that requires the Postal Service to deliver mail six days each week."
"The ability to suspend delivery on the lightest delivery days, for example, could save dollars in both our delivery and our processing and distribution networks. I do not make this request lightly, but I am forced to consider every option given the severity of our challenge," Potter said.
That doesn't mean it would happen right away, he noted, adding that the agency is working to cut costs and any final decision on changing delivery would have to be made by the postal governing board.
If it did become necessary to go to five-day delivery, Potter said, "we would do this by suspending delivery on the lightest volume days."
The Postal Service raised the issue of cutting back on days of service last fall in a study it issued. At that time the agency said the six-day rule should be eliminated, giving the post office, "the flexibility to meet future needs for delivery frequency.
A study done by George Mason University last year for the independent Postal Regulatory Commission estimated that going from six-day to five-day delivery would save the post office more than $1.9 billion annually, while a Postal Service study estimated the saving at $3.5 billion.
The next postal rate increase is scheduled for May, with the amount to be announced next month. Under current rules that would be limited to the amount of the increase in last year's consumer price index, 3.8 percent. That would round to a 2-cent increase in the current 42-cent first class rate.
The agency could request a larger increase because of the special circumstances, but Potter believes that would be counterproductive by causing mail volume to fall even more.
Dan G. Blair, chairman of the Postal Regulatory Commission, noted in his testimony that cutting service could also carry the risk of loss of mail volume. He suggested Congress review both delivery and restrictions it imposed on the closing of small and rural post offices.
The post office's problem is twofold, Potter explained.
"A revolution in the way people communicate has structurally changed the way America uses the mail," with a shift from first-class letters to the Internet for personal communications, billings, payments, statements and business correspondence.
To some extent that was made up for my growth in standard mail — largely advertising — but the economic meltdown has resulted in a drop there also.
Potter also asked that Congress ease the requirement that it make advance payments into a fund to cover future health benefits for retirees. Last year the post office was required to put $5.6 billion into the fund.
"We are in uncharted waters," Potter said. "But we do know that mail volume and revenue — and with them the health of the mail system — are dependent on the length and depth of the current economic recession."
He proposed easing the retirement pre-funding for eight years, while promising that the agency will cover the premiums for retirement health insurance.
At the same hearing the General Accounting Office agreed that the post office is facing an urgent need for help to preserve its financial strength. But the GAO suggested easing the pre-funding requirement for only two years, with Congress to determine the need for more relief later.
Potter noted that the agency has cut costs by $1 billion per year since 2002, reduced its work force by 120,000, halted construction of new facilities except in emergencies, frozen executive salaries and is in the process of reducing its headquarters work force by 15 percent.
Mass Email Emergency Response
I know it has privacy issues, but I am just brain storming here, the stories I am hearing makes me so very sad that I did not know, I would not have minded hauling water or helping in some way, but there was no way to know at the time, for me anyway.
They Were Told To Melt Snow !!!
Residents called the Town of Eureka and said that they were losing pressure, NO one Responding, by late afternoon when called again, as the story is told to me, the Town of Eureka says it is to late in the day to do anything about it. Sick Elderly Residents ask what are they to do, they are told they can get water at Montana Market, and for the Constant Bathroom usage that comes with the Flu.. they were told to melt snow. Sick, 20 Below and they are to Gather Snow. Cruel at Best.
The Town Did not Respond well, People Suffered. Many wish for me to not blame the Town of Eureka, but truly who else is to blame. I for one had no idea at the time that these folks were in need, had I have known I would have delivered water, offered showers, offered housing, the Town Could have done more to reach out and get these people, these tax paying citizens of the town of Eureka help.
The shabby work is one thing, letting people suffer this way in these extreme temperatures is pure torture. If the community had been alerted someone, maybe mass emails through interbel - montana sky, something. We the People of Eureka could have helped them.
Please, Get a Better system in Place so we can help our own when they are in need, 30 to 40 houses I heard. People suffering over christmas in extreme weather and No One to the Rescue... There needs to be a better way to reach out.... In our Small Town there is NO reason for people, especially elderly people to Suffer this Way, when there are able bodies that are willing to help.

Offshore Wind Farms in the News

They Force Wind Farms for the Good of All just as they did when they forced the giant electric power lines through farms and condemned them so the land owners had no choice. In towns like my hometown, the Corp. of Engineers came in and flooded fertile, rich land and created dust bowls and now the area will never be the same and the Land Owners children lost their legacy, their inheritance and their way of life.
Zero Point Energy was used a hundred years ago to power cars. Electricity existed before GIANT powerlines, drilling for gas and oil ever began. And now it is not enough that we are drilling offshore, spilling oil into the oceans, killing the wildlife with these methods.
But now Wind Farms such as the one in controversy off of cape code, they say will definately affect migrating birds, they are VERY Ugly to the coast line and they cost a fortune, oh well, you the American people will pay for it. With Zero Point Energy there is a One
They Jailed men who tried to tell you about it, why ? We have a Right to Free Energy, we have a right to beautiful coasts, to watch migrating birds, and to not have poison in the oceans with oil.
A One time Cost and you Have Free Energy for Decades and it is NOT readily available to you because someone will not make residual money and be able to control you, keep you at work, keep you down.

"They" jailed the Inventor of the Searl Effect Generator, they took his prototype, Why? It was to Keep Control of You. Step Out of It and Find Out More.
Maybe they are Afraid of What you Will Do with this Kind of Power. What will you do with your life if you don't have to work so much to pay for Electricity, Gas, Oil.
"The Searl Effect Generator developed in the 1960s is allegedly capable of cheaply and safely producing electricity without fuel, pollution, friction, or noise. Anti-gravity effects also involved.
Now a mock-up version has been produced demonstrating some of the core principles.
"I have known John since 1988 and have watched his work closely since that time. In the last 19 years I have had the privilege of meeting a number of those people who worked with him in the 1960's and 1970's, who have all confirmed the facts John explained in the first couple of years of our friendship."
-- Dr. Terry Moore (Mar. 10, 2007)
In 1968, like many free energy pioneers, Searl was imprisoned on fake charges. In addition there were regular clashes with UK energy monopolies like Otis T Carr had with GM.
The height of Searl's achievement squashed at this point - he had nearly two dozen operational SEGs which were all sequestered, along with his plans. Since being released from jail, he has been seeking to rebuild what he had once achieved.
The Searl-Effect is based on complex rotating magnetic-field effects, and as such is related to the experiments performed by Godin & Roschin, Marcus Hollingshead, KD, and in a very general way even the work that Podkletnov and Ning Li have done with rotating superconductors.
Godin and Roschin replicated a single-ring SEG in Russia and reported that as the device reached 550 rpm that it began to self-accelerate and was enveloped in a bluish glow. Marcus Hollingshead is using a device featuring a unique coil-design, and despite the fact that he had never heard of the SEG while building his device, he claims that his effects of Antigravity and field-effect shielding match the SEG almost perfectly.
Searl SEG Updates - 2008
Good news - the magnetizer (500KiloWatt SEG Printer Magnetizer and major electrical bus panel) is almost done, we are just waiting now for the buffer unit. Progress is good, and when this is done we will be able to magetize the plates and roller sets. "

Wherever two or more — or eight — are gathered
The Smiths and the Burrises comprise
the entire Eureka Church of Christ.
The church has no minister and relies on the two men — Rex Smith and Mike Burris — to teach the Bible class and serve the Lord’s Supper. A typical worship service involves watching a video sermon and singing from hymnals. “I’ll either start the song or Mike will start it,” said Rex Smith, a hunter and fisherman who owns a heating and air-conditioning business.“Sometimes, it’s a community effort getting it the right pitch,” added Smith’s daughter Danielle, 15, with a laugh.
Larger congregations may draw more attention, but 15 percent of the nation’s non-instrumental Churches of Christ report average Sunday attendance of less than 25.Like the Eureka church, 1,910 congregations across the nation fit into that category, according to the 2009 edition of Churches of Christ in the United States. The Eureka church is so tiny — and so unknown — that it missed inclusion in the directory published by 21st Century Christian.“It’s pretty tough sometimes,” Rex Smith said of maintaining such a congregation.
“There’s a lot of times that we feel like, instead of being here on Sundays, we’d rather be someplace else with other families.” Matt Jones, a Coast Guard commander stationed in Valdez, Alaska — a 2,300-mile drive from Eureka — certainly can identify. Jones, a father of five, shares pulpit duties with fellow member Wayne Ezell as eight to 10 people gather most Sundays. The Valdez church met in a house before moving to a storefront alongside a carpet store, chiropractor and jeweler.Leaders felt the storefront might be more appealing to visitors.
In the summer, the church sometimes doubles in size with visits from tourists.“Its definitely different,” Jones, who grew up in a 100-member Kansas congregation, said of the Valdez church. “Especially when Wayne’s traveling, I might do the lesson, say the prayer and lead singing.”The Joneses make it to Anchorage about three times a year and enjoy visiting with the 350-member DeBarr Road church.“We attend there every chance we can get,” Jones said.
“It’s just wonderful — it’s a shot in the arm to hear everybody singing loud and on key. And to sit through a service where you’re not doing anything is kind of a treat.”On potluck Sundays, the Eureka church moves the worship service to the home of the Smith family, who live 12 miles outside of town on 20 acres bordered by U.S. Forest Service land on two sides and hidden at least a mile off the nearest paved road.God’s beauty can’t be missed in these parts, where white-tailed deer mingle amid mountain streams and lush, big-cone Douglas fir trees that once made Eureka known as the “Christmas Tree Capital of the World.”
A black bear that Rex Smith shot in his back yard — from 30 feet away — hangs on the family’s living-room wall. The Smiths greeted visitors from The Christian Chronicle with a lunch of pork tenderloin, home-canned green beans, salad, rolls and iced tea. Danielle made cookies for dessert.
The family shared stories about life and faith in a picturesque yet isolated place for those who want to live out and draw others to New Testament Christianity.“You’re in a Catch-22,” Michelle Smith said. “It seems like you need a building to get people to know you’re there. But to get a building, you have to have people to support a building.”Danielle Smith said she invites her teenage friends to church, but they’re not interested. There are larger, more exciting denominational churches in town, she said.“
A lot of them are going to church not for religion, but because of the games and movie nights,” said Danielle, who finds encouragement by attending regular youth rallies throughout Montana. After moving to Eureka six years ago, the Smiths commuted for about a year to the closest Church of Christ — the 175-member congregation in Kalispell, Mont., near Glacier National Park, about 65 miles away. But the distance created too much of a barrier.“You can go on Sunday, but you really can’t be a part of the congregation,” Michelle Smith said. “You can’t do anything in the middle of the week.
You spend all your time on the road.”So a few years ago, the family planted the church in Eureka. The Smiths welcomed help and support from committed Christians in the region, including Bill Brown, a retiree and Sojourner from Oregon; Clifford Utter, a rancher and preacher from Idaho; and Chuck Watts, a leader at the Glacier church in Columbia Falls, Mont.“I wish we could support them more as they seek a minister and permanent building, but it’s a start,” Watts said.Utter said he’d love to see a vocational minister move to Eureka, find a job to support his family and help build the church. “This would be a beautiful place to raise children, but they’d have to work,” Utter said.
Members pray that God will open doors.“We’re doing it right, but it sure is hard,” Rex Smith said. “If we were the Catholic Church, Rome could set us up” with a minister and permanent building.
FOR MORE DETAILS on the Eureka church, write to Rex Smith, 832 Barnaby Lake Road, Eureka, MT 59917 or call (406) 882-4821.

Summit 1031 Exchange LOST your Money.. They are So Sorry
You the Real Estate Consumer have been duped again.
They were supposed to Keep Your Money Safe for a “1031 Tax Exchange”, they Illegally loaned out your Money, What can You Do ?
As with any Real Estate Related Lawsuit, first of all get ready for the long haul, and
wait for the SLOW heavy wheels of justice.. watch out you don't get run over.
There is No Governing Body over the Real Estate industry.
I know that your Bank Loans Out Your Money over Night and Makes BIG Bucks, While giving you VERY little interest. I guess I did not realize a 1031 exchange company could do this, your millions in their “Investment Control”. And this supposed, highly secure and closed audited Real Estate Exchange Process seems to be running successfully free of a True “Governing” body or industry watchdog, Kind of the Like the Realtors Association.
A Real Estate Exchange Company is “Suppose” to be a “Trustee” and in the Case of Summit 1031 Exchange, they Certainly did Not act the Way they were suppose to.
Exchange Investors Should Not be Allowed
to Do Short Term Investments, especially in a Volitile Market.
They do what they want and pay little Consequence.
SUMMIT 1031 EXCHANGE
December 19, 2008
To All Customers of Summit 1031 Exchange:
In a prior website posting dated December 15, 2008, Summit Accommodators, Inc. ("SAI") reported it was experiencing significant financial issues, had ceased funding open exchanges, and had curtailed its daily operations until those issues could be addressed. This letter will provide you with updated information and report the actions SAI has taken to address and resolve its financial issues.
SAI currently has approximately $ 27,831,363.00 in open exchanges for customers of Summit 1031 Exchange ("Summit Customers"). However, the total cash in SAI’s exchange funds related accounts is $ 13,600,212.88, which is a cash shortfall of approximately $14,231,151.00. Although SAI has other assets that it hopes will be sufficient to pay all Summit Customers, those assets are unfortunately illiquid at this time and not immediately available to fund open exchanges.
"On December 19, 2008, SAI did the following to address these issues:
1) SAI filed a petition under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon, Case No. 08-37031-rld11. All of SAI’s assets, including the exchange funds, will be preserved intact pending decisions to be made by the Court. SAI’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy attorneys are Susan S. Ford and Thomas W. Stilley at Sussman Shank LLP, located in Portland, Oregon. Summit Customers are listed as creditors in the case and are entitled to appear, be heard and file claims with the Court. You will receive further notices regarding SAI’s Bankruptcy Case in the mail. Should you desire or require bankruptcy advice to protect your rights, you should contact a qualified attorney to assist you with this process.
2) SAI has replaced its existing management to provide transparency, independent decision-making and control. Tyrell B. Vance LLC, ("Vance") has been retained as SAI’s Chief Restructuring Officer ("CRO") for all purposes in the Chapter 11 case. Vance is a recognized business crisis manager and court receiver in multiple jurisdictions with over 30 years of such experience. Effective immediately, Vance has been given independent authority to investigate all transactions and to manage SAI and all of its assets for the exclusive benefit of SAI and its creditors, specifically including all Summit Customers, until all debts are paid in full or all assets have been appropriately liquidated and paid to creditors, subject to the direction of the United States Bankruptcy Court. Vance will take possession of and preserve all exchange fund accounts maintained by SAI for Summit Customers. Vance will further assume control of SAI and all of its assets, books and records, and will have the power as CRO to propose a plan for SAI to pay creditors, to bring claims against third parties, and to do all other acts as may be necessary in the interests of SAI and its creditors or as ordered by the Court.
3) Vance as CRO of the Company has retained Obsidian Finance Group, LLC ("Obsidian") as financial consultants to provide advice with respect to all tax issues affecting Summit Customers and a plan to mitigate damages to the maximum extent possible of currently unfunded exchanges. In addition, Obsidian has been retained to review substantial real estate investments and recommend the best method to realize the value of such investments to satisfy claims. Obsidian is a national financial consulting firm, which specializes in distressed enterprises and assets.
This situation resulted from loans of exchange funds made by SAI over a period of time ending in approximately the year 2006 to Inland Capital Corporation ("Inland"), which in turn loaned funds to various entities and individuals that were involved in real estate investments located primarily in central Oregon. Inland is owned by the same persons who own SAI. The members of the entities and the individuals to whom Inland made loans are in most cases one or more of the owners of SAI.
Although liquidity was not an issue for many years and much of the outstanding loan balance from Inland to SAI was repaid, the recent crisis and downturn in the formerly profitable real estate market caused the entities and individuals who owe Inland to be unable to repay loans in a timely manner, which in turn caused Inland to be unable to repay SAI. The current amount owing from Inland to SAI is approximately $13,706,557.21. The existing real estate investments will be made available to repay the loan balance and satisfy claims, in addition to any and all other available assets and resources of SAI. However, it will unfortunately take time to determine, realize and reduce the value of such assets to cash to pay Summit Customers and creditors. SAI is hopeful that its assets will be sufficient to satisfy all customers’ and creditors’ claims, and is committed to doing so under the independent direction and control of Vance, as CRO, and the United States Bankruptcy Court.
SAI deeply regrets the distress and detriment that Summit Customers are currently experiencing. The foregoing actions have been voluntarily taken by the existing management to assure Summit Customers that SAI is committed to complete transparency regarding these issues, to ensure that all of its actions will be exclusively for the benefit of Summit Customers and creditors, and to eliminate any uncertainty that SAI’s assets will be preserved."
“Transparency” .. I Don’t Think So.
We Deeply Regret Loses your Millions, but Oh Well.. Life Goes on for Us.
Summit's largest creditors hail from Texas, California, North Dakota, Idaho, Utah, Montana and Washington. In Oregon, they include Home Valley Bank in Grants Pass, Tenneson Engineering Corp. in The Dalles, the Millers near Bend and Tennant Investors, the family partnership held by John Tennant and his brothers.
Summit said it has replaced management with Portland turnaround consultant Tyrell Vance and will try to sell land and other assets to repay customers and creditors. But that process will take time, and it's unclear its assets will fetch enough to satisfy all its debts, the company warned.
a New Day - We Wish You Well Obama .. We are in Your Hands

Close the Meeting... ENOUGH is ENOUGH...
'Enough is enough'
Council hears complaints
By Krista Tincher
Of the Tobacco Valley News
“Enough is enough,” said David Haidle frankly as he addressed the Eureka Town Council at Monday’s monthly meeting.Haidle clearly articulated his frustrations with the town’s public works department during the public comment period of the meeting.“It’s not what it is, but what it appears to be,” said Haidle. Anyone who works in public service and is not aware of that rule does not belong in public service, he said.
Over the years, said Haidle, he’s had the opportunity to work with the town’s public works crews. In the past, they’ve done a good job.
“But now - we’re not getting that kind of service,” said Haidle. He cited several examples.Haidle said that he has observed public works employees checking water meters. It takes two employees. One man drives, and waits with the truck idling while the other gets out and checks the meter. “I can’t believe we can afford to do that,” said Haidle.
Another example Haidle cited included an instance when he needed to have the water to his home turned back on after he was away for a time. In the end, he said, it took four employees to turn his water on. “The question is - how many guys in the city does it take to get your water on?”Haidle went on to articulate his concerns with road repair.
“The roads never get repaired until we complain,” said Haidle. “Then they come out and put a bunch of pug in the hole. Currently, we go from a big ol’ hole to a big ol’ speed bump!”To sum it up, said Haidle - we need to do something.
“All it takes for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing. We need to restore confidence back into the city crew. We’ve got more than two guys now, and we’re just not getting it done.
It blows my mind.” June and Denny Osler also were present to voice complaints to the council during the public comment period.
The Osler household was one of many without water during six days over Christmas last month.June began by stating how she felt that the situation was poorly handled on the part of the town - especially when it came to communication. Workers were not communicating with the office, she said.
They were told they could obtain water in one location, and when they tried, “the guy laughed us out.” Then they were told to get water at Montana Market, which was sold out. She heard that the fire department had been delivering water to the elderly, she said - which was wonderful - but somebody from the city should have gone house to house to make sure everyone was all right.
“Thank God we had family in town,” she said - people they could stay with. “I feel that any other utility would have been working around the clock,” she said - and not taken weekends or even holidays. Not to mention the money lost at his business, the Korner Lunchbox, added Denny. You can’t make coffee without water. “I want reimbursement of some kind,” he said.To these comments, the council said nothing.
Tim Ryan next offered his advice concerning emergency hiring of snow removal workers. He was concerned that the town had hired someone without liability insurance or workman’s compensation coverage.
Ryan suggested a call-when-needed list of emergency help, such as the town has had in previous years of heavy snow.
Don Stacy then offered his volunteer services to aid in plowing roads. With that, Mayor Dave Newburn closed the public comment period and went on to business on the agenda. Tracy McIntyre of Eureka Rural Development Partners updated the council on grants and projects.
The town was awarded a $250,000 Edward Byrne Memorial Department of Justice grant, which will be used to purchase emergency services equipment.
A large portion of the grant will go to architectural drawings of the proposed Eureka Justice Center. McIntyre also mentioned that she was in contact with two businesses that were interested in moving to the area. The businesses would provide a number of jobs, and one was interested in purchasing the old Eureka Fire Hall.
McIntyre inquired about the selling price of the hall.McIntyre also suggested that the town consider possible incentives for businesses that would provide a number of jobs to move to Eureka: tax breaks, for example. “We’re going to be competing with every other small town,” she said. ERDP is also putting together a recruitment package for businesses, she said.
McIntyre requested a letter of support from Newburn for the Tobacco Valley Community Center.
The letter is to be included in the center’s pre-application for their new building, to be located north of Eureka.Public works director Roger Butler was next up on the agenda. He first requested to open the alley between First St. West and Dewey Avenue.
Newburn agreed to his proposal. The subject of snow removal came up again next.Councilor Ethel White spoke up, pointing out that the town must develop an ordinance regarding cars parked on the streets for long periods of time - blocking snowplows - during times of heavy snow. “We don’t have an ordinance, but we’re going to get one started,” she said.
Butler then commended his workers during the six-day water line repair over Christmas. The line was not fixed - he hoped it would hold until they could do a better job in the spring - but it was temporarily patched.
Temporary repairs ran a bill of $30,000, said White. And it’ll cost another $100,000 or so more to get it done right, noted Butler.Ryan, in the audience, then commended Butler on his work during the repair ordeal.“If it had been decent weather, we’d have gotten through 10 times faster,” said Butler. Temperatures had remained in the subzero range during the time of the repair.
Butler expressed his discomfort in saying all that he’d like to say with public ears present.“I’m closing the meeting,” said Newburn. “All of you can leave - except Roger,” he chuckled.
State law allows the closure of a public meeting only in rare instances, usually involving the right of privacy outweighing the public's right to know.
How Much Money and Over How Much Time has the Town Been fixing Water and Sewer Pipes ? Lawsuits, Mold, Sick Kids, Cancer, Basements Flooded and still the Town of Eureka Did not Hire the Right People to do the Job. I think they spent more on the "Planner" the "Designer" then those who did the work.. If the Work was Done Right in the First Place with the Big Money that went into to supposedly fixing the town water issue then this would not have happened. I over heard an Attorney talking to a Forensic Engineer about a Client in Eureka and he said we love the Town of Eureka "they Pay" .. So .. Eureka spends more money on attorney and Do and ReDo then Getting the Job Done Right the First time... The Town of Eureka Hires who they Choose, they pretend that it is a job put out to bid in a Fair Market but it is NOT. They give the jobs to friends and if a New Mayor wants to do things right the Croneys that run the Town of Eureka Get Mad......

the New Steins
There is lots of produce, good lighting and they even have quite a bit of Organic Produce, I would like to see more, however, I understand that if it does not sell it could be bad for profits.
There are Old Time Photos from Gary Montgomery's collection .. this is Really Great. Each Section seems to be expanded. There is lots of good looking meat, fresh cakes, Organic Canned Foods, Muir Glen Tomatoes (for those who love these), they have an awesome section of mexican foods, and the Beer Section will be a VERY good sell. It is wayyy larger then before and they will do great with this section.
Lincoln County Credit Union decided not to move with the new store so that section has shirts and card and is a bit sparse. They have public restroom and plenty of room to roam around... so the Verdict is In .. the New Steins is a Hit and there will be no stopping them.. it is just the way it is.. Photo Gallery Below.
the City of Eureka
At one Point David Haidle is quoted as saying " All it Takes for evil to prosper is for good ment to do nothing....." This is so TRUE. In Eureka Montana we are at a crossroads... if the Good People of Eureka Montana that I know are out there do not stand up for all the bad things happening here then as Dave says, Evil will Prosper.
Thank you David Haidle for Standing up.. if anyone has a comment or a story they would like to share.. please email us at Crystal@CrystalCox.com

Desirae Stewart - High Country Mortgage - Eureka Montana

She even has people on Facebook that call her "friend" when she has put them near bankruptcy, how does she do it ? It is quite shocking that someone would "friend" Desirae Stewart when she lied to their husband and his development company over and over. Desirae Stewart would tell this local developer she was working on getting him a loan when, in fact she was not. She misled him and he went in Major Financial Distress because of it. I guess he does not know or believe that Desirae Stewart would do something like this, his wife certainly does not, she is a "Friend" of Desirae Stewart.
The Truth is Mortage Fraud is Legal In Montana. The Truth is that the FBI, the Department of Justice and those who govern Montana Banking and Mortgage simply Do Not Care if a Mortgage Broker forges a Document. So what you must do as a Real Estate Consumer, a Borrower is to watch your back. Don't take your Mortgage Brokers Word for ANYTHING.

Some Pricey Logs
Plus with no oxygen on these logs, WoW.. I bet they are gorgeous.
...underwater logging ...
It’s been in the works for about
three years, but now the state is
advancing a proposal for public
review on a project that involves
salvaging long-lost logs from the
bottom of Somers Bay
in Flathead Lake.
The Montana Department of
Natural Resources and Conservation
is taking initial public input
on the proposal from North Shore
Development. What’s next is an
environmental assessment and
ultimately a land-use permit for
the logs to be salvaged from the
state-owned lake bed.
North Shore initially proposed
the salvage project around 2006
and received a permit to proceed
from the state Department of
Environmental Quality.

the Old "Dukes" Bar - Restaurant and Gas Station SOLD
It is said that the Border Station bought it for additional offices at a Price of 2.5 Million. This is not confirmed though heard from a reliable source. So the Real Estate Business is still quite good for some..
Steins New Store
The Signage on the Old Store and the New Store is Not Real Clear as to What is Going On, I am sure it will all be worked out soon.
It is Said that they will be handing out store maps to help people find their way around. I took a few photos for you folks. They are Not Real Good, I Will Get You More Later. Store looks nice, but if the parking lot is full and they are not even open.. that is scary. The Mountains in the Background sure are pretty. We shall see how it all plays out...
Power Line Moving Forward
This power line project is another way for somebody to get rich for years to come and to use Eminent Domain to Take over Properties. I use to think Wind was a good source of Power, but I have learned of better ways. It is quite sad to think that we NEVER needed Oil, Gas, Electricity - YET the damage and destruction that using these commodities has caused is seemingly irreversable. There were cars running on Electric Motors a hundred Years ago.
"the Energy Machine of T. Henry Moray" is a Book about Zero Point Energy and Pulsed Plasma Physics by Moray B. King. This books talks of the absolute shocking tactics of those in power to keep us from Free Energy. This Book also talks of this "Free Energy" as it was invented and used over a Century ago. And we are Still Dependent on Others for Power to our Lights.
I Saw a PBS Special where copper and clay pots was found in very deep caves, they say that there was no way to do the drawings that were in that cave without Light, actual light. And that the Copper and Clay Pots was Used to Light up the Tunnel and this was Centuries upon Centuries ago.
The Power Line Project is Called the Chinook Transmission Line Project and those along they way THEY choose will get next to nothing for use of their land and they do not have a choice. For the Power Line is said to be of the Greater Good and therefore you don't get a Vote.. you just shut and get paid. Though their land would be worth Millions more to a Real Estate buyer at somepoint looking for Privacy - Seclusion.. but with Major Power Lines the Land is Worthless.
"The company expects to
announce a partnership with
a large wind power generator
perhaps by April. Trans-
Canada told Gov. Brian Schweitzer
in the meeting that
it needs a commitment from
a wind power company large
enough to use about half of
the transmission line’s 3,000
megawatts.
“The project is really
starting to get some legs,”
said Scott Farris, TransCanada
government relations
director.
TransCanada has a similar
line planned for Wyoming,
called Zephyr. The
lines will provide “green
energy” to Las Vegas, Los
Angeles, Phoenix and Southwest
energy markets and
will both stretch about 1,000
miles at a cost of about $3
billion for each line.
The company believes that
the hungry energy markets
in the Southwest have a
desire to purchase renewable
energy, even if it could
cost more."
From the Daily Interlake
So This Company is Banking on the NEED or the Desire that people have for renewable energy.. Wind.. Yet these Giant Windmills will be on Private land and last I heard from the Landowners they were not offer near competative rates... Yet a Windmill.. a Power Line of this Size will Change the Landowners life forever.. and We Do Not Need it.. there are Better Ways but you see if you pay for the upfront cost of something Like a Searl Generator and it runs a hundred years without stopping.. well that is No Darn Good for the Economy. Unless a Giant, Greedy, All Consuming Energy Company can charge you a monthly fee then it is of no use. Find out more Folks.

Whitefish Credit Union
In Eureka's branch of the Whitefish Credit Union it is not that simple. Here it is Who You Know, who is more important, whether it is vacation time or if the loan offiicer is having a bad day. It is not a matter of simply finances and qualification. The application and approval process is sometimes months longer then go directly to those in the Whitefish office of the Whitefish Credit Union. It really is Sad.. Eureka's Whitefish Credit Union is not the Whitefish Credit Union I have loved being a part of for over 22 years.. with my first account started in High School.

And Now This.. Kind of Scary but Cool to, I don't thin all digital is good for our eyes.. however, it is good for our environment I guess.. Information Super Duper Highway.
Cooney bill would make ignoring rules of Montana Legislature a state offense
"I believe that we all consider ourselves law-abiding citizens. I think that's something that doesn't need to be said, but I think it should be said," Cooney, a Helena Democrat, told the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday morning.
"This bill is very simple: If legislative leaders write rules and then those joint rules are passed by both the House and the Senate, then we comply with those rules," Cooney said. "If we do not, if the legislative leaders decide to ignore those rules or not to comply with those rules, then they can be subject to a misdemeanor. It's a tough way to bring accountability to the process."
Cooney's bill got a cool reception from committee members, some of whom said they were wary of expanding the judicial branch's reach into the Legislature. Other committee members said they were concerned the proposed law could be used for political purposes.
"Whether or not the person is found guilty ... just the accusation alone could be considered a political move by someone," said Sen. Dan McGee, R-Laurel.
Sen. Aubyn Curtiss, R-Fortine, said the threat of facing a misdemeanor for violating legislative rules could deter would-be legislators, who are new to the process and more prone to accidently violating rules, from running for office.
"We have 30 new people on the (in the House). We have a citizen Legislature. Don't you think it's expecting a lot for some of those new folks to be acquainted with the rules to where they feel secure enough to run for an office like this?" Curtiss asked.
Cooney said the bill would apply only to Senate and House leadership, and shouldn't deter anyone from running for office.
"Those are the people this really addresses. Those are the ones who ultimately control how we enforce the rules," Cooney said. "I honestly believe that if we pass this bill, we will do a better job of not knowingly or willingly violating the rules."
Cooney said his bill stems from a situation he encountered years ago when a bill he supported was held up by a House speaker who refused to bring it to the floor after it was passed by committee.
"We have seen these tactics be used in past legislative sessions and I don't think it makes for good legislation, I don't think it makes for good theatrics, I don't think it makes for good public policy," Cooney said.
The committee took no action on the bill Wednesday.
Well This Was Inevitable
So Fortine Plum Creek is Next on the Hit List.. Can't afford the little guy who made Plum Creek the Real Estate Moguls that they are today. Plum Creek was looking for a "Politically Correct" way out of their mills so as to not get to mcuh back lash. The current housing market is their ticket OUT... Weak Housing Market is their excuse, the Truth is they have been in the Real Estate Game for years and this is just their way of shutting down the mill and saving face.
Article Below
Plum Creek Timber Co. said Thursday it will close a sawmill, idle three others and reduce production at a fiberboard plant in Montana due to the weak housing market and less demand for wood products.
The company said the moves would eliminate 145 jobs.
Plum Creek said it will close a mill in Fortine in March and temporarily reduce operations at a mill in Kalispell through February and possibly March.
Both mills produce stud-grade lumber for home construction. The company said the Kalispell mill can make up the volume produced at Fortine when sales improve.
The company also said it would go from 1.5 shifts to one shift at its Pablo pine board sawmill and will idle a similar mill at Columbia Falls at least through February and possibly into March. Those mills make products mostly used in home repairs and remodeling.
And Plum Creek said beginning Jan. 19 it would reduce production lines at its Columbia Falls plant that produces medium-density fiberboard.
Chief Executive Rick Holley said the lumber business has been hit hard by the weak housing market and job cuts "are necessary to match supply with the eroding demand for our wood products."
and they are RICH - RICH - RICH..
Water Outage Comment
Comment is in Blue...
"i miss typed when i wrote that the second time was also days approximately i am sorry. I didn't realize you just post what you hear i assumed you just posted what you thought happened. I don't know if you read the paper but the cause was believed to be previous work on that street done by another agency, not that they did anything wrong, it was just that when one utility was replaced and the road dug up it somehow compromised the older water pipes. Anyways that is all Happy New Year."
My Response is Below..
Yes, I do Post What I think, it is My Blog. I encourage others to Post as well. I know what the paper said, but I have been to meetings where the paper says a different version of what I saw with my eyes and heard with my ears. So I know that the Paper is in essence a Blog as well.
r
It is the version of Reality that the person writes the article believes to have happened or the pressure of those with money or local political power that determines what really goes in the story. I realize it was VERY cold and that the break was hard to determine.
r
I am sure it was not a purposeful act to hurt anyone. Though, many did suffer .. it truly was a hardship. Some were sick and it was not pretty. Some were alone and had the fire department bring water. Some had family in town for Christmas that ended up hauling water.. it was a Mess and VERY sad for those involved.
r
I personally do blame the Town of Eureka. Because I have seen them hire people that are NOT qualified to work on the lines because they are the cheapest bid, I have seen them NOT be able to shut water off while basements fill in business. I have seen great hardship with commercial buildings downtown due to the lack of the Right Money spent in the Right Places.
r
I have seen kids with Cancer from Mold because water and sewages backed up into the house. This Incident may be something that the Town Of Eureka is Totally Innocent of, so Be It. However I believe that the problem would not have happened if the right people installed the lines in the first place.
r
I believe the Town of Eureka has let people suffer, has NOT done the right work in the right place. And I have personally seen the Town of Eureka “pick on” people, such as getting some out of bed to shovel their walks in front of their downtown commercial building while the other buildings around and across the street were loaded with snow and got NO call.
r
So yes my opinion is mine, but I have owned downtown business, I have lived here my whole life, I have seen the damage done to people by the City Water and Sewer lines that are NEVER quite right, and I have seen those who suffer from it… something is wrong in the big picture and those people should not have been out of water so long and then when it WAS supposedly fixed, obviously it was done cheaply - short cutted or in the wrong place, because yes, it then happen again.. And from the stories I have heard the paper seriously downplayed.. I mean the Missoulian had an article about 2 people that were in quite a stressful situation.
No Offense to the Tobacco Valley News, I Get it..
r
If they don’t play things down, they lose advertisers and in a small town they cannot afford to tell the whole truth and nothing but.. People Just Get angry at the Truth.. And justice does not come to them anyway so they learn to Grin and Bear It.
r
So Yes "Previous Work" caused the problem, that is what I was saying.. Shabby work done by the lowest bidder or those politically connected and the Residents Pay the Price.. it is Wrong....

Internet and Long Distance Outage
Some folks have satelite Internet and Internet on the phones, for me I was down for a bit over 2 days, but thankful that we have the internet for the weekend. Many make their money online nowdays and with so much dependent on the Internet it really is kind of scary.
Apparently, an Avalanche knocked out a tower near noxon, and it was a remote area. We had no estimated time of getting the Internet - we obviously now have the Internet .. thanks Interbel.. for continued updates and working on this.
And for those surfing for outages in Montana .. that's the Scoop..

Mike Workman
Did you read the paper, where Mike Workman was made to be some sort of Hero ? Was the Yellow Paint in front of his building ? Was he afraid of liability.
Did Mike Workman Really Care that Some One Would Get Hurt ???
I Don't Believe that the Welfare, the Well Being of the Public is anything that Mike Workman is really concerned about. From what I have heard, he has lied to real estate consumers, failed to disclose in numerous real estate transaction, knew of dirty dealings of one of his agents and was said to have said oh well she is making me money.
I won't go into a whole lot of detail YET.. but many have had situations with Mike Workman where they have lost, their family has been hurt, they have suffered hardship at the hands of Mike Workman. And not just Me..
Situations where Mike Did NOT disclose, yet when the home sold and Seller went to resale he asked of issues and if they had been fixed but he had not disclosed.
Much more to come on this topic in the future. If you have any stories email us at Crystal@SavvyBroker.com We will Discuss Lincoln Electric, Real Estate Disclosure, and various other related topics about Century 21 Eureka... Stay Tuned...
So I would Say Publicity Stunt...
