Many do Not Want Midvale to Annex for reasons of healthy water.. the Town of Eureka sent out a letter that says Oh don't worry but we found bacteria, it is gone now and you don't need to boil your water but you have a right to know... What?r

Many are rightfully scared to not want city water. City water and sewer is very high priced and for what.. the sewer system backs up into peoples homes.. mold issues .. sick children and the water is YUCK for taste and seems to have "issues" a whole lot... R

It Says that "you do not need to Boil Your Water or Take Corrective Actions, However, if you have specific health concerns, consultant your doctor." What ? You won't catch me drinking the water.. but guess water your skin absorbs, what is in water, be it chlorine or ??? so you do bathe in it.. Right? How do they KILL the bacteria.. is it Lots and Lots of Bleach.. Town Water is Scary to me.. It says it is not an emergency or you would be immediatley notified.. I guess this means instead of when you happen to check your mail..r

I find this all quite disturbing on many levels.. and is not comforting to those in Midvale who the Town is Trying to Get to Join their distastrous Sewer and Water System...

Sex Slaves in the Suburbs - Many young victims of human traffickers treated as criminals themselves

Teen recounts horror of abduction into sex slavery

For someone who’s only 18, Shauna Newell is remarkably composed as she describes being kidnapped, drugged, gang-raped and savagely beaten.

It is only when she talks about seeing one of the men who sexually assaulted her — free and unafraid of being prosecuted — that she starts to break down.

“I went out to the beach a few weeks ago and I saw the dude who raped me, and he just looked at me,” Newell told NBC News, her voice choking. “Like, hey … you ruined my whole life. You have scarred me for the rest of my life and you're just sitting there going on with your life like nothing is wrong.”

Human traffic As shocking as Newell’s story is, it is not unique, TODAY’s Natalie Morales said Thursday in a special report entitled “Sex Slaves in the Suburbs.” Advocates for girls and young women who are forced into prostitution by people who approach them in various ways, including on the Internet, claim that thousands of American youths are victims of human traffickers.
Like Newell, many are treated by law enforcement authorities as runaways, said Marc Klaas, who founded the advocacy group KlaasKids after his own 12-year-old daughter was abducted, raped and killed. When they are forced into prostitution, the young people are the ones who are prosecuted, Klaas told TODAY’s Meredith Vieira Thursday in New York.

“It turns upside down,” Klaas explained. “First of all, many of these kids are missing children. But what happens is when they’re trafficked, they’re turned into hookers; they’re turned into prostitutes. So we find this situation where we find these young victims, these young girls that all of a sudden are being treated and looked upon as criminals.”

At least in that regard, Newell was fortunate when she was abducted two years ago. Thanks to her mother and Klaas’ organization, which organized a search for her, she was rescued after three days. She’s gone public to warn other girls about how easy it is to be kidnapped and trafficked.

Sinister sleepoverA typical 16-year-old in a middle-class home in suburban Pensacola, Fla., Newell’s nightmare began innocently enough: A new friend she had met in high school asked her to come to her home for a sleepover.

Newell’s mother, Lisa Brant, didn’t like the idea, but after weeks of lobbying by her daughter, Brant met with the girl and the man she said was her father to make sure her daughter would be safe.

But the girl’s “father” was really a convicted felon, and the girl, who had a record of prostitution in Texas, was an accomplice in the abduction. “Her dad took us to this house and said he'd be right back and he left us there,” Newell recounted in a taped interview. “And I asked for some water because I was thirsty. And I drank the water and I blacked out.”

The water had been laced with a drug. When she woke up, Newell was groggy and couldn’t move.

“My legs were being held down, and the guy that was raping me was holding my hands back,” she said in a quiet voice. “I kept screaming, ‘Stop, please don't do this. Leave me alone.’ But I was so weak, I couldn't fight them off. Like I was, I was so really out of it. And I blacked out a few times and I kept coming back to. And I was still being raped every time I woke up.”
Left alone for a moment, Newell managed to call her mother.

“My cell phone rang. And all I heard was, ‘Mommy, help me,’ ” Brant said. “And the phone went dead. And I freaked!”

She called police, but they told her that Newell had probably run away from home, and they wouldn’t be able to treat it as a missing-person case until 72 hours had elapsed.

“He was like, 'Oh, well, you know, there's nothing I can do. You know teenagers,’ ” Brant said.
A stroke of luckWith law enforcement unwilling to act, Brant and Newell’s siblings started their own search. They were fortunate in that Brad Dennis, an investigator for KlaasKids, was based in the area because the Florida Panhandle is an epicenter of human trafficking.

By sheer luck, one search party stopped at a convenience store for something to drink, and Newell’s 14-year-old brother spotted his sister in the back seat of another car that had stopped at the same store. She was rescued, but her abductors managed to flee.

After three days of being raped and beaten and drugged, Newell was dirty, bloody, bruised and barely alive. She was airlifted to a hospital and had to be resuscitated twice. In addition to her serious injuries, she had been infected with an STD.

Newell said that her captor told her she had been sold on the Internet for $300,000 to a man in Texas. Fortunately, she was rescued before delivery could be made. During Newell’s ordeal in Florida, her captor took money from a number of men who raped her. When she screamed, he held a gun to her head and threatened to blow her brains out.

Afraid for her life, Newell later moved in with her boyfriend and now has a child of her own. Her family continues to lobby for national legislation that will provide aid for Americans forced into the sex trade similar to aid that is provided for girls and boys who are brought into the country and forced into prostitution.

Vieira asked Lisa Brant what advice she has for other girls.

“Listen to your parents. Just don’t stop believing. Be strong,” she said. “Follow what your parents say fully, fully. There are people out there who will help you. Speak up. Everybody needs to speak up. Girls that have gone through this, they’re scared.”

Lincoln County Bridges - Grave Creek and More ?

With only until the end of the month to apply, the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners quickly pushed through a resolution during its meeting last week in an attempt to qualify for a grant that will create documentation on the current state of 33 bridges.Bill Lloyd, a vice president from Great West Engineering out of Helena, recommended the move.

The process includes the writing of preliminary engineering reports that will identify the most economical way to replace a structure. In the past, the county had explored the idea of applying but did not because of approximiately $20 million in savings out of the Roads fund. The fund created the perception that Lincoln County didn’t need any more money to spend on roads or bridges.“We felt it wasn’t worth the time to even apply,” board chairman John Konzen said. “We finally came to the conclusion that it’s something very positive. … He said there are other ways to do it (qualify) so we’ll explore it.”

Lloyd said that several bridges in poor shape can override factors such as a substantial amount of money sitting in savings. Lloyd outlined for commissioners the various criteria that are looked at during the grant approval process. Lloyd said federal stimulus money will play a factor in the availability of grants. The grant cycle occurs every two years and he expected 40 to 45 or more projects to be funded in the next cycle. Any work in Lincoln County would be at least two years out. At the meeting, it was believed that all 33 bridges are under 20 feet in length. One commissioner recalled that one bridge might come in just short of 20 feet.

That length is important because the State of Montana does bridge inspections only for those 20 feet and longer. The planning grant through the Treasure State Endowment Program provides up to $15,000. The county would match the grant dollar for dollar with payment out of the Roads fund.“Once the bridge inventory is in place, we work through what the highest needs are and the county decides what bridges they want to proceed forward with for funding,” Lloyd said. Commissioner Tony Berget liked the idea.“I think the biggest thing that was of real interest to me is to have a good inventory,” Berget said.

“To put it all together, to me, that’s one of the best aspects.”Konzen was positive about the possibilities, primarily having the planning in place before applying for any future grants to help pay for bridge construction. And if everything falls into place, the county would receive money from the state instead of spending its own.The 33 county bridges are pretty much evenly distributed throughout the county. In the past decade, the county has replaced one bridge – that up in the Eureka area over Graves Creek. Six bridges have been repaired by the county – three in Eureka, two in Troy and one in Libby.Early this decade, a Libby bridge was replaced but it was paid for through a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

That bridge goes over Parmenter Creek and had to be replaced after flooding in a project that even included changes to channel flow.Another bridge that was closed more than a year ago goes over Bobtail Creek near Libby. Bridge construction is scheduled for this summer on Pipe Creek Road but it is being paid for by the Department of Transportation.Among the current county bridges that top the priority list is the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Bridge over the Kootenai River in Troy. The one-lane bridge, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, was originally built in 1912 and renovated in 1992.Concerns exist over the bridge’s decking. Konzen said the bridge is safe but there are challenges with treadwork coming up.

Another bridge at Graves Creek in the Eureka district is also on the priority list. And Libby has the closed bridge over Bobtail Creek.The Treasure State Endowment Program, or TSEP, provides grants for infrastructure projects on the local level. The program is state-funded with the intent of helping counties solve affordability problems by lowering the cost of constructing public facilities.

Grace Got Asbestos Warnings 30 Years Ago, Jury Told

March 24 (Bloomberg) -- A former W.R. Grace & Co. executive testified he warned his superiors more than 30 years ago about asbestos contamination in vermiculite from a Montana mine and feared it might lead to criminal prosecution.

Robert Locke, an ex-global vice president of Grace’s construction products division, testified yesterday as a government witness in a trial in Missoula, Montana, after being warned by the judge that he might incriminate himself in the crime the company is accused of.
“Maybe this is a real terminal problem,” Locke recalled telling his onetime boss, Harry Brown, after company tests in 1976 showed vermiculite ore from Libby, Montana, shed asbestos fibers no matter what was done to prevent it.

“The asbestos just kept coming out,” Locke said.
The government showed the jury a memo circulated to several top Grace officials in January 1977 outlining possible repercussions the company faced from Libby vermiculite. “Bad publicity” was one. Another was “criminal action.”

Locke said he learned of the government’s environmental- crimes investigation in 2004. “I saw a black Crown Vic with government plates at the curb,” he said. Three federal prosecutors knocked on his door to question him about Grace’s operations in Libby, a town in northwestern Montana.

“I was concerned about my own criminal liability,” Locke said. Still, he led prosecutors to the Grace files he’d tucked away in cigar boxes and elsewhere in his basement. He said he took the documents shortly before leaving the company in 1998, fearing he would need them in case of a lawsuit.

Former Executives
W.R. Grace, the bankrupt chemical and construction- materials company based in Columbia, Maryland, and five of its former executives are charged with conspiring to expose Libby residents to asbestos-contaminated vermiculite, hiding the dangers and obstructing a government cleanup.

All the defendants in the case have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Vermiculite is a mineral used in insulation, fireproofing and potting soil. When contaminated with asbestos, it can cause lung diseases including cancer.

Grace filed for bankruptcy protection in 2001 because of liability for asbestos products, most of which was unrelated to the alleged Libby contamination.

Trial Interrupted
The trial was interrupted yesterday by a juror’s illness. Locke resumed testifying today.
Locke, who also served as chief technical officer of Grace’s construction products division, left the company on bad terms and subsequently filed civil lawsuits that are still pending against Grace and defendant Robert Bettacchi, Grace’s one-time senior vice president, he testified.

Seeking to head off objections from the defense that Locke was biased against Grace, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kris McLean made it clear that Locke had been offered immunity in exchange for his testimony, and declined it, against the advice of his lawyer.

“I didn’t want it,” Locke explained, under questioning from McLean.

“Have you been cautioned that what you say here could be used in some pursuit of criminal charges?” asked presiding U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy.

Wilderness bill stands to affect Montana

HELENA, Mont. (AP) Montana is not among the nine states where wilderness would be designated under a bill that has final congressional approval, but the measure would affect the Big Sky State.The bill that passed the House 285-140 on Wednesday, with Montana Republican Denny Rehberg voting no, initiates a five-year federal program to reduce the possibility of livestock depredation by wolves and to compensate ranchers for losses.

The measure also designates the Ice Age Floods National Geologic Trail, which would begin near Missoula. The bill gives a congressional stamp of approval to the National Landscape Conservation System, which includes the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument in Montana, and mandates transferring nearly 10 acres from federal control to Jefferson County, for management as the Elkhorn Cemetery.

YouTube is unavailable in China

As of Monday, YouTube is unavailable in China, an unexplained move apparently made in response to the existence of a video of Chinese soldiers beating Tibetan monks, says the BBC. Leslie Harris, president of the Center for Democracy and Technology, responded that:
China’s actions fail to live up to international norms.

China’s apparent blocking of YouTube is at odds with the rule of law and the right to freedom of expression. Anytime a country limits or takes down content online , it must be forthright and specific about its actions and do so only in narrowly defined circumstances consistent with international human rights and the rule of law.

Google declined to criticize China, saying only: “We don’t know the reason for the block and are working to restore access to users in China as quickly as possible,” in the words of spokesperson Scott Rubin.

The Committee to Protect Journalists criticized the move, calling on China to explain itself and remove the block immediately.

We are deeply concerned that millions of Chinese Internet users have been deprived of an important information resource without being told why,” CPJ Deputy Director Robert Mahoney said. “The blocking of YouTube is a sign of escalating restrictions on media freedom that we have witnessed this month in China. Authorities must explain why YouTube is inaccessible.”

Family of Irving 'Bud' Feldkamp, Owner of the Nation's Largest Privately Owned Abortion Chain, Dies in Montana Plane Crash

MEDIA ADVISORY, Mar. 24 /Christian Newswire/ --

Some of you may have seen the major news story of the private plane that crashed into a Montana cemetery, killing 7 children and 7 adults.

But what the news sources fail to mention is that the Catholic Holy Cross Cemetery owned by Resurrection Cemetery Association in Butte - contains a memorial for local residents to pray the rosary, at the 'Tomb of the Unborn'.

This memorial, located a short distance west of the church, was erected as a dedication to all babies who have died because of abortion. What else is the mainstream news not telling you? r

The family who died in the crash near the location of the abortion victim's memorial, is the family of Irving 'Bud' Feldkamp, owner of the largest for-profit abortion chain in the nation. Family Planning Associates was purchased four years ago by Irving Moore "Bud" Feldkamp III, owner of Allcare and Hospitality Dental Associates and CEO of Glen Helen Raceway Park in San Bernardino .

The 17 California Family Planning clinics perform more abortions in the state than any other abortion provider - Planned Parenthood included - and they perform abortions through the first five months of pregnancy. Although Feldkamp is not an abortionist, he reaps profits of blood money from the tens of thousands of babies that are killed through abortions performed every year at the clinics he owns.

His business in the abortion industry was what enabled him to afford the private plane that was carrying his family to their week- long vacation at The Yellowstone Club, a millionaires- only ski resort. The plane went down on Sunday, killing two of Feldkamp's daughters, two sons-in-law and five grandchildren along with the pilot and four family friends.

The plane, a single-engine turboprop flown by Bud Summerfield of Highland , crashed into the Catholic cemetery and burst into flames, only 500 ft. from its landing destination. All aboard were killed. The cause of the crash is a mystery.

The pilot, who was a former military flier who logged over 2,000 miles, gave no indication to air traffic controllers that the aircraft was experiencing difficulty when he asked to divert to an airport in Butte . Witnesses report that the plane suddenly nosedived toward the ground with no apparent signs of a struggle.

There was neither a cockpit voice recorder nor a flight data recorder onboard, and no radar clues into the planes final moments because the Butte airport is not equipped with a radar facility. Some speculate that the crash was due to ice on the wings, but this particular plane model has been tested for icy weather and experts have stated that ice being the cause is unlikely. In my time working for Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, I helped organize and conduct a weekly campaign where youth activists stood outside of Feldkamp's mini-mansion in Redlands holding fetal development signs and raising community awareness regarding Feldkamp's dealings in child murder for profit.

Every Thursday afternoon we called upon Bud and his wife Pam to repent, seek God's blessing and separate themselves from the practice of child killing. We warned him, for his children's sake, to wash his hands of the innocent blood he assisted in spilling because, as Scripture warns, if "you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you". (Ezekiel 35:6)

A news source states that Bud Feldkamp visited the site of the crash with his wife and their two surviving children on Monday. As they stood near the twisted and charred debris talking with investigators, light snow fell on the tarps that covered the remains of their children. I don't want to turn this tragic event into some creepy spiritual 'I told you so' moment, but I think of the time spent outside of Feldkamp's - Pam Feldkamp laughing at the fetal development signs, Bud Feldkamp trying not to make eye contact as he got into his car with a small child in tow - and I think of the haunting words, 'Think of your children.'

Some see this crash as some sort of Sick Justice and this in the name of being a Christian. Is not Christianity about love, forgiveness and treating others as you yourself wish to be treated ?

Of Course Irving 'Bud' Feldkamp was haunted, He has lost his family in a Fiery Crash. He has lost all that was dear to him on the most real and basic levels of human life and this voice of the Christian Community alludes to it as being some sort of poetic justice, or sentenced served. Wishing or feeling glory in this man's families death and tragedy, is inhuman, immoral and unconscious-able. Many businesses benefit from the death and destruction of others, Big Pharmacy Companies are at the Top of My list on this One. Doctors are on top of this List, Oncologists and many more...

Companies like W.R. Grace make hundreds of millions while others suffer torturous deaths and die.

I am Sure that many Large Corporations that make a living from all of us, dabble in “behavior some may deem sinful” that does not mean we wish, or will some how find glory in their children and grandchildren burning alive in a plane crash. And we don’t wish them or they families any sort of tragedy or “Spiritual Justice”.

I don’t know who my readers think I am but I certainly am not interested in a “Gotcha Moment” of this kind. I am not into smiling, quietly to myself or in a public forum at the tragic loss of others.

Many feel that Mr. Feldkamp deserved what he got for supporting abortions, in which many feel is the killing of innocent lives. In this some feel it was meant to be that these people lost their lives and it is punishment for the blood on the hands of the family.

I do NOT believe this Family Deserved to Die a Torturous Death or to be
punished for the "Alleged" Sin of What their father, grandfather or Friend did to make a living. These People were Innocent and Beautiful People on a Family Vacation and Many feel their Death was a "Revenge" or "Spiritual Payback" somehow.

The Christian Newswire should be Ashamed of these Words.

Bless These Families Wherever they are Now.

A note on Abortion Issues: If guys could get raped and pregnant, if guys could get molested and get pregnant and if guys could “accidentally” get pregnant, Things would be TOTALLY different, the discussion on the issue would be totally different wouldn’t it?

When you look through Lincoln County Port Authority records you see that there was a lot of money spent on meetings and tons of other nonsense and this committee has failed for 6 years to created jobs that they were payed to create. He even had 2 years left on his last timber sale when he shut down. And he only got this last timber sale because he tricked the "secret meeting members". (Ask Around).

Hurst is No Hero, He made hundreds of millions of dollars ( at least in land value) and lots more perks by secret meeting, grant money, your hard work, politics, blaming environmentalist and getting your hatred for them to make him even richer. Jim Hurst is no Hero, he is a businessman, and he is not part of the solution. He still has the resources to create jobs, but you see he is retired....

the Stonegarden Shift

Apparently the Sheriff's office is so preoccupied with using up the BIG federal money from "Operation Stonegarden" that they cannot answer calls in town and make the city calls do it. Midvale has no real protection, if you are on county property you have to wait til they get good and ready to come over.

Another Note on the near $400,000 that Lincoln County got with the Stonegarden Grant money, they would not have got anywhere near that if they did not have Eureka. Eureka is a border town, we have a 24 hour border, Libby does not border Canada, yet those deputies are clocking big money and so is the Sheriff's office in general for the Officers on the "Stonegarden Shift". We are not getting Sheriff services, even today there was something going on in midvale and no county law could come over, yet the Sheriff car is driving around in the woods.

If Eureka were it's own County, County 57 - you would have this money working for you and actually working on the Real Border in Real Time and not driving up here for a moment from libby. Also with this grant all agencies are suppose to work together and they do not. They hoard the money and over time with county law and don't share the weath with city cops - those who actually do come to our rescue.

This initiative gives state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies additional funding to strengthen America’s borders. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Border Patrol has primary responsibility for coordination of the successful initiative, which has resulted in increased safety and security in border communities.

Started in 2004, Operation Stonegarden made funds available to more than 200 agencies in areas adjacent to either the Canadian or Mexican borders to enhance their border security operations. Funds were used to support overtime, per diem costs and to purchase equipment such as night vision technology and observation equipment to enhance security operations on the border in areas in proximity to Border Patrol operations. Participation in the program does not give agencies immigration enforcement authority, but allows them to enhance their traditional law enforcement missions

Operation Stonegarden enhances border security through increased patrol activities of state, local, and tribal law enforcement in areas along the border that are vulnerable to the entry of terrorists and terrorist weapons, or in corridors known for human and narcotics smuggling.

Why Does Lincoln County Get so Much? Because we are on the Northern Border. So the County Detective - Deputy wants to Eat up Some overtime so they get seen in Eureka and Spend 9 whole minutes in the West Kootenai Every day and then back to clock out. It is all about sucking up federal money while giving us no services, harassing us, not listening to cries for help, not prosecuting crimes and basically leaving us to fend for ourselves while your tax dollars - Federal, State and County Pay them to do the Same Job.

Last year I warned the owner of the establishment it happened at they sent me a cease and desist letter - they don't care. What is Going on with the Unusual Display of the Sheriff Vehicle and the Border Patrol on Private Driveways - Private Property ?

Lincoln County Detectives won’t send deputies to help the local police or to go on calls on county property, they make the town cops do it. YET now they are, seemingly budgeted by Homeland Security and they are here in great numbers. Why don’t you know what is going on here? I mean are they getting ready to declare Marshall Law? Why not just tell the public the truth, why the need to instill fear in the locals. It is NOT right.

Why is there no Detectives or County Deputies in rural areas for years and now here they are all the sudden. They can’t come up and interview Rape victims but can come up and Drive Around for no real reason.

It Can’t Be Drug Enforcement, because we just don’t care about or enforce those issues here in Lincoln County.

The County Deputies cannot even cover the High School when it is on County Property and you pay them to do it. They send City Cops over to the High School for Calls. You pay the County for services that you don’t get here in Eureka Montana, Why ?

Why does the Border Patrol Need help from Lincoln County Law “Enforcement” (Oxymoron) ?

I mean we all know that the Border Patrol agents don’t have enough to do already, so what is going on ? Is it just Budget Money to Spend or is there something going on that concerns us all and we are being kept in the dark. I know it is NOT drug enforcement. You hear how this is what the border patrol does, at least in part, but here we all know most all the drug dealers and we know that Your Law Does Nothing to them. So what is the Real Deal ?

I have heard that others have had the same violation of property rights by border patrol agents patrolling their driveway without a word to the property owner.

So What is Operation StoneGarden

This was announced last August

"Montana to Get $2 Million for Operation Stonegarden By E. Wing Spooner espooner@mt.gov Montana’s U.S. Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester announced last Friday, July 25, that 11 counties on Montana’s northern border will receive $2,030,000 to help address critical homeland security needs through the Operation Stonegarden program.

Previously, the program was only for security on America’s southern border. Last April, the Heard Across Montana (HAM) newsletter reported that the Public Safety Services Bureau, in support of Northern Tier Project Director Sheriff Wayne Dusterhoff and the Northern Tier consortium, contracted with a grant writer, Jim Oppedahl, to compile and submit the Operation Stonegarden grant. The application represented a great effort by law enforcement to propose collaboration, force multipliers and partnerships to protect the northern border. "

Police Force, but they are just driving around.

It Seems to be that the recent spotting of the Sheriff Car in places they NEVER real go and the Border patrol on private roads is because they are sucking up overtime shifts....

Many Wonder if the feds, that are funding this Grant with your money, know that they were funding a bunch of guys looking to violate citizens rights and harass the public......????

Are the County Deputies really kind of saying We will patrol where nothing is going on if it is the budget, but we won’t deal with rapes, calls from Midvale, calls from the high school, Robberies or domestic violence if there is not enough in the budget for it ?
