""Paul Stramer, a communications expert from Eureka, Montana will discuss the importance of ham radio communications in times of emergencies. He’ll also share the “Liberty Bell Freedom System” being utilized all over the nation by citizens who are tired of “business as usual.” Concerned citizens demonstrated its effectiveness just last week at a Ravalli county commission meeting held in Hamilton, Montana.

One section of a proposed new rules and regulations for the Ravalli County Airport was removed in its entirety after a very vocal public expressed their disapproval of the language in the draft copy of the regulations. The egregious section that prompted the public outcry was, “Section 5-109 FIRST AMENDMENT ACTIVITIES: which denied the public their first amendment rights on the airport property without first obtaining the county’s permission.”

Sixty concerned citizens showed up within minutes to the Ravalli county commission meeting after they were alerted through the “Liberty Bell” system. Over a dozen people (same as in a jury) spoke up against the proposed language and reminded their public servants that when they accepted their jobs, they took an oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Two of their many comments included: “These rights were given to us by God, and guaranteed by the Constitution and you can’t take my rights away!” and “It’s your job to protect these rights - it’s not your job to regulate them,” another added.

The county commissioners, after being reminded of their duties, voted unanimously to remove that section from the proposed airport regulations.

Do we need this kind of accountability and Liberty Bell system here in Lincoln County? You bet! Be there or stop your whining.

From A Former Chrysalis Parent

"" To Those Who Come Across This Blog,

I am a parent of a former Chrysalis student. My daughter graduated a couple of years ago and is living at home now, attending community college. She called me into her room the other night, very upset, after reading material posted on this blog about a school that is near and dear to her heart. I read it as well and felt it important to share some of my personal experience and feelings about the school.

I have visited Chrysalis with some frequency, once before I sent my daughter there, and numerous times while she was living there. I had the opportunity to spend a great deal of time with Mary and Kenny, many of the staff, and to get to know a number of the girls, extraordinary girls who I will never forget, who were living there during that period.

From the moment I first drove up to the story-book like property at Horse House, I instinctively knew I had found the environment for my daughter that I'd been seeking. I felt incredibly lucky that a spot was available and that she was accepted. I don't know if any of you have had the experience with having to face the reality that your child is in trouble and in need of help that you've been unable to provide.

To accept the fact that it was necessary to let go of my daughter and entrust her care to others was hugely frightening and extremely depressing. I am a single parent and had to make a very big emotional and financial sacrifice to send my daughter away. I am happy to say that I have never regretted for a minute the choice that I made.

My daughter got everything she needed at Chrysalis: clear structure, nurturing support, caring friendships, self-awareness, spirituality, self-confidence, a love and appreciation for physical activity, healthy foods and natural beauty, a feel for the importance of community service, and most of all an enduring relationship with both Mary and Kenny, two of the finest people I have ever met.

By the time my daughter returned home to live after two years at Chrysalis, she was a very different girl than when she left. She has progressed steadily (along with the occasional setbacks we all experience in our lives), performs well in school and at her job, is in a healthy relationship, and in a positive place in her life.

Our own relationship has improved by leaps and bounds. I owe this all to Chrysalis...my daughter was inspired there, found herself there, and has continued to work hard on herself as a result of the positive role models she encountered during her stay.

Clearly, not every girl has, or will, experience Chrysalis in the same way. Each girl that comes to Chrysalis enters with her own set of issues and some may leave with them as well. For my daughter, Chrysalis was the right place at the right time. I believe she was ready to receive what was being offered and soaked it up because she knew she needed help.

She has been back to visit a couple times since she left and stays in regular contact with the school. She is planning another visit at the end of this month with the intention of transferring to college in Montana in the fall.

If any of you reading this are parents who are seeking help, as I once was, I hope that the insinuations and unsubstantiated claims on this blog do not turn you away. It is heart-breaking for me to think that a needy teen might be deprived of one of the rarest, most special learning/living experiences out there because of hearsay.

Chrysalis changed my life as well as my daughter's and if I hadn't found it, or had been dissuaded by the type of accusatory comments that I've seen on this blog, I don't know where we would be right now. I encourage anyone seeking help to do your own due diligence, visit the school and let your own instincts guide your decision.

In my opinion, Chrysalis is a gem, a truly miraculous place run by two very gifted people and a lovely staff, each contributing his or her own unique skills to the whole. I was incredibly drawn there from the first, and each time I had to leave, it was with great regret.

There are so few truly good places that exist, it would be a tragedy to see one of the very best negatively affected by some of the toxic comments on this blog. In the troubled world in which we live, there are far more worthy targets towards which to sling one's arrows than the wholly well-intentioned, heart-centric community that is Chrysalis.

Government Contracts are pretty much ALWAYS decided before they even put a call out, YOU LOSE !!

One of the Biggest I have with Government Contracts, or Jobs .. be it a Police Job, a local contract for sewer lines or any job where Fema Money,County, State or Federal Money is Involved is that they just "Pretend" to comply and make all those hard working men and woman Go for the Job, Travel to Interview, Take Classes and Certification ... When all along the local politics had already picked someone they liked - knew or owed a favor .. OR got a kick back from... Big Government acts like they put a fair call out for contracts and bid jobs and that is Just Not how it goes...

This is from the smallest of Towns to the Biggest or Cities and even reaches Internationally with US Contract Jobs... so why not just hire who you want and STOP making those poor saps travel and jump through hoops to get a job they never had a chance at...

I have seen this in so many jobs in my local area, heard about it state wide and have read so much information on how bad it really is and still the Good, Hard Working.. Tax paying citizens are jumping through those same hoops...

So funny how so many don't get what I do.. Yes I am un-biased.. however I do believe these girls had very real experiences, I believe they are telling their Truth... I have also heard around town of other "indiscretions" - it is up to the Parents, Teachers, Owners, Students, CPS, and "Authorities" to do what they will ... Nothing I can do.. but Post their Story..

As far as the Suggestion of "reasons" I have for doing this.. again.. this always SHOCKS me.. My dad and step mom have been running Chrysalis School for over ten years now. I actually lived there for two years during high school and worked for them from 2008-2009.

I was on the “adventure crew” and worked closely with all of the girls taking them to do activities such as running, hiking, biking, backpacking, rock-climbing, etc. The majority of the girls enjoyed these outdoor activities while some of them hated it. I have played a variety of sports throughout my life consisting of basketball, volleyball, track, softball, and soccer.

I remember one day in 8th grade my basketball coach made the athletic program at my middle school run 3 miles outside around two o’clock in 100 degree temperatures (in Texas). Did anyone start a BLOG about this treatment?

No. I am now 25 years old and voluntarily go on many runs and hikes in 100 degree weather because I love being active and staying in shape. I ran with the girls two days a week at Chrysalis and most of the runs were about 1.5 miles. This took approximately 30 minutes for all of the girls to complete. Most of the girls “jog” at about a 13- minute mile, which, if you are aware, is almost walking pace. Throughout middle and high school we were required to spend an hour in “PE” class every day.

This morning workout that some of the girls are describing as torture is merely the athletic portion of their high school degree and I will be the first to tell you that there is nothing torturous about this workout! Some of the girls would ask if they could run longer distances because they didn’t feel that the typical 1.5 mile loop was challenging enough.

My dad is one of the most educated people that I know and there is NOTHING about him that is “perverted, cruel, or inappropriate” in any way. If he were any of these things why would I choose for him to have such an impact on my life? I have been around Chrysalis for the entirety of its existence and have NEVER thought of any of the staff as being inappropriate. My dad is the reason that I am the way I am today.

I went straight from high school to the University of Montana and graduated in four years with a Bachelors degree. I worked a full time job throughout college because my dad wanted me to learn how to provide for myself and take responsibility for myself financially. He and Mary are incredibly educated and fully licensed to be doing what they are doing.

The girls go to Chrysalis for a reason. I had professors in college or teachers in school that I didn’t much care for but am I writing into the administration complaining about them? NO, because they were doing their job and now that I am older, I respect these people that educated me. There are many people out there that are so unhappy with their own lives that they want to make others miserable and I feel that that is the reason for this blog.

Kenny and Mary are both amazing people that do not deserve this. If you ever take the time to speak directly to one of them I think you would agree. Mary is such a kind-hearted, passionate woman that would never run a program that was inappropriate in any way. Kenny (my biological father) is a very opinionated, smart man that would never do anything that wasn’t kosher in his line of work to any of the girls or staff at the program. It actually outrages me that you would even post something like this without being 100% educated in doing so!

If your blog truly is unbiased I hope that you will post ALL of the articles that are being sent to you. There are many other issues that I would like to comment on that have been sent in but I feel that anything longer would bore the audience.

Libby Montana Social Services - Private Caller - What Could they Want?

So the Phone Rings, it is a "Private Caller" they leave this number .. 406-293-3757 x235 - I google it and it appears to be Libby CPS, Social Services.. so they leave a name and where to Call and NEVER identify the Agency.. the name sounds familiar .. as years ago I talked to Libby CPS over and over as did over a Dozen Family Members of Mine.. that Child .. though all these Family Members called in.. well he was left in a Meth House, he was allowed to EVEN home school after this to make good and sure he got into Meth... oh and Marijuana for Kids well that started before the age of 10... NOTHING I could do..

you call the State Hotline they send you back to the Corruption in Libby Montana where they protect each other, protect the drug traffic and Libby CPS DOES NOT protect the Children of Libby Montana... they may try I am unsure.. they most likely care.. but someone,e somewhere STOPS that and NOTHING gets done and the kids turn into monsters... .lost to Meth.. wonderful .. bright.. gorgeous .. smart kids.. lost to the Corruption in the Libby Montana Drug Ring..

I spent hours on the phones and emails over months and it leads to nothing so now they want to talk to me some more... and yet can't be bothered to Identify themselves..

Also worked with a Libby Detective, got all those emails to this day... he pretended to help.. later I heard rumor that he may be dealing .. at any rate he did not HELP .. not even a little bit.. and that kid.. well a druggy now.. and nothing I could ever do.. THE one VERY disturbing part of all this that does affect other Libby Families is I have proof of Emails..

I worked with Social Services, with A Libby detective... I kept them in the Loop on the progress and action of my Meth Addicted Family Member.. and guess What when she Finally Cooked some up and Blew herself up and burned the house... the Fireman had NO PRIOR knowledge or warning that it was a "possible" or even "alleged" meth house and they could have ALL been killed due to lack of communication and follow through in the Libby Montana Judicial System...

So why is the Libby Social Services Calling Really.. they did not Identify Themselves or give a Reason ... and they expect me to Call them Back... I think NOT...

Now is CPS, Libby Social Services is Could be Calling on the Chrysalis School.. and No Offense here Chrysalis Girls... I Believe your Story and will Post Both sides.. but if those Rich Families are what is waking up Libby Child Protective Services well I have No Respect for That... I know sounds odd, you would think I would want an Investigation... and I do.. but I know it will go no where .. they all do in Libby Montana.. it will just be Talk..

Truth is She was doing to good of a Job and the County Controllers just wanted her gone... so you see CPS Montana, Montana Child Protective Services Investigates a Mom for the Word "Fuck" just because some local Yammering "Name" called Libby CPS or the State ... but a Child Raped or in a Meth House with all kinds of "Fucked up" stuff going on .. well that is simply not a priority for CPS Montana or the Libby Montana IN-justice... system..

Libby Montana is the Number One Judicial Hell Hole in America as Far as Lincoln County Native Crystal L. In Libby Montana Rape, Robbery, Hate Crimes, Meth, Real Estate Fraud, Economic Terrorism, Contract Favoritism, Child Porn, Sex in Exchange for not getting a ticket and more.... ALL Legal.. well at least you won't be prosecuted .. oh unless.. like the Henson Gal... the Cops need to cover up the fact that they let the Murder Victim go several times, did not respond to calls on him waving a gun around a campground ( those Campers called us) and did not arrest him for violent behavior that one day led to a young woman shooting him in self defense and now she is in prison but the guy with her.. well he is free and the Family of the Victim... Well they Talk to Me... and they are Still Pissed that their Father was NOT arrested and Saved...

So some murder does get prosecuted, some "Bad Words" lead to total economic, financial and reputation ruin... some folks go to jail .. but that is just depending on the Political Motive, Money it Represents or other factors that have NOTHING to do with FACT and TRUTH..... and are not Based in Laws, Morals or Doing the Right Thing.

Please find below a response to the Chrysalis articles and letters you have posted. I ask that if you choose to reprint this account, you preserve it in its entirety; if you think that it is too long, I would be happy to shorten it myself. I do not ask that you preserve my anonymity, for the anonymous complaint is the refuge of the coward who cannot stand by their allegations.
I am a former Chrysalis student who left the school after graduating early from Lincoln County High School in 2005. I attended the school for less than two years, but during my time there I neither observed nor experienced the inappropriate behavior alleged by the former Chrysalis School associates who have written into your blog.

I did not feel that the restrictions imposed on my social life and my communication with family members were unreasonable. I did not graduate the Chrysalis program. Instead, I chose to leave for college after completing my high-school education because I feared the possibility of intellectual stagnation.

Though I chose to leave before graduating, Mary and Kenny bore me no ill will and allowed me communication with my friends who were still under their care. Eventually, I discovered that in college, there were many opportunities to engage in activities like drinking and having sex with boys.

When I began to drink as a seventeen year-old, I voluntarily stopped talking to my friends still in residence at the Chrysalis school. I knew that students are expected to maintain contact only with friends who abide by the laws of our great nation, and underage drinking is against the law. I did not want to put Kenny in the awkward position of telling me that I wasn't allowed to talk to my old friends.

I know and understand that many, if not most high-school and college students drink before they turn 21. I can see how it seems unreasonable, on first glance, to forbid students to have contact with kids who drink, do drugs, or have sex, since most high-schoolers do at least one of those things.

But Chrysalis is tasked with helping troubled young women, many of whom have substance abuse problems or sexual disorders. Part of Mary and Kenny's job is to protect their students from their old lifestyle; often that means that they have to limit their friendships with other young people who might remind them of the excitement of alcohol, or narcotics, or meaningless sexual encounters.

This blog has alleged that these students are not treated like "Americans", but here in the United States we forbid parolees to associate with other former convicts. The temptation to collude with like-minded peers and make further mistakes is too great.

Those who have written into this blog have complained of the restrictions imposed on students' communication with their family. I found,when I solemnly examined them, that these restrictions were similarly reasonable. Most of the us at Chrysalis were somehow failed by our parents.

They did not teach us well, and they failed to develop healthy relationships with us. When we first arrived at Chysalis, we needed to completely change how we interacted with our parents. We could do this only if we talked to them at first with the help of our therapists, and only if we were not constantly on the phone with them, re-enforcing old patterns.

We were welcome to communicate through Snail Mail with them at great length, and (if I recall correctly) without oversight. Further, many of us were extremely good at manipulating and lying to our parents; with supervised phone calls, we were less likely to allege abuse to be removed from the program by horrified parents. Had I not had Kenny on my initial calls with my mother, I probably would have done this -- successfully.

The issues of restricted communication, however, pale in the face of potential abuse. I cannot speak to any events that occurred after my summer, 2005 departure from the school, but I can tell you and your readers what I saw while I was at Chrysalis. I saw Kenny be physically close with students, including myself, to be sure -- but his contact never struck me as inappropriate. He was physically close primarily with the girls who resided in Horse House, the place where he and his wife and co-owner, Mary, spent 6 out of 7 nights per week.

The contact was of this type: he would put each arm across a student's shoulder while we would be having a house movie night, or while we would be watching television in the evening. He would hug students when we seemed upset or excited.

When we would be doing physically challenging activities, such as rock climbing or trying to climb out of a lake onto a boat, he would sometimes give students aid. The contact was paternal, as might be expected from a man tasked with the care of several adolescents. It often reminded me of the way a male soccer coach might be close with his female team.

There was only one other male therapist during my entire stay at Chrysalis. He never made physical contact with the students. Several members of the activities staff were male: they often made physical contact with the students, but this contact also struck me as coach-player interaction.

The contact was never hidden from parents, prospective parents, or any other non-Chrysalis observers -- surely, if the contact I saw was inappropriate, staff members would have been less open about it.

I was never threatened, nor was I ever restricted from seeing a doctor. I have weak joint-fluid sacks, and have severe wrist pain as a result. As soon as I started riding bikes, the pain flared up and I asked to see a doctor. Once the problem had been diagnosed, the staff was understanding about my physical limitations in working with my hands. When we took a bike trip from Eureka to the Washington coast, whenever my wrist pain became severe I was always allowed to ride in the supply van that followed behind the bikers.

I was never forced to do activities I was incapable of. I can recall other students who had physical issues that prevented them from certain activities: in every instance, I remember the staff making appropriate arrangements for them. One girl arrived with a severe weight problem. Whenever we would go hiking, the majority of students would go on a strenuous hike, while one or two of us would join that particular girl on a shorter, flatter walk.

I was never forbidden from eating food. I was never told I was "eating too much" (unless there might not be enough food prepared for everyone to have third portions, and some people hadn't yet finished eating their first portions) or that I wasn't eating enough.

I did hear comments about food consumption made, on occasion, to other students -- they were primarily made to students who had a history of eating disorder for whom regulation of food intake was relevant to their recovery.

I am grateful to Mary and Kenny for the things they taught me. Could the program be improved? Probably. Did anyone in the program ever hurt me or another student? Not to my knowledge. When I first came to Chrysalis, I wanted to drop out of high-school and become a waitress.

Now I am saving for law school. I appreciate your efforts to protect young women at Chrysalis, but I hope that you will share not only the negative responses to your article, but also the positive ones. Thank you.

There are Many Hot Topics and Heated Issues on my Blog and the Posts on the Chrysalis School are certainly No Exception. These stories are not mine, obviously, though many think I post these stories or make them up just because I have some Vendetta against total Strangers, which is Certainly not the Case.

I am on top of the Search Engines, I am the news to many people or at least one more source. People find my sites on many different Topics and they email me their story to be included on my Blog, also I offer the ability for others to Write on My Blogs to get their story out there. Few people take me up on that offer, oh well I am still on top of the search engines, I am still telling their story the best I can keep up with it. And I still Encourage you to write on our blogs and tell your Montana news to you... I am the Messenger, the News... the New Media..

Today We Got More Comments on the Chrysalis School and though many pressure me to drop the Posts about the Chrysalis School, I will Not Deny these Young Women a Voice just to Make My Life Easier.

It certainly won't STOP my Constant Online Attacks anyway so WHY in the World would I remove the Voice of these Women to appease the Few that provide no Written Statement, no Back Story, no Facts or even Opinion for me to Consider posting.

Many want me to Remove what I have Posted About the Chrysalis School because it does not reflect good on the school or hurts new business - the thing is these stories are VERY believable to me and it is not my job to say they are not true, but to present them to the people to decide for themselves or for the "Authorities" to investigate SHOULD this ever actually happen on anything in the State of MONTANA.

I have reported HORRIBLE things to Montana CPS and well let's just say there is No Child Protective Service in MONTANA... they send it back to the town, or county to deal with and the Corruption there Covers it up and the Child is Lost in the MIX... Still I post their story.. they have a Right to Be Heard.. I am the REAL NEWS... by the REAL People.. not some book report version of a story... not even really wholly based in my Opinion ... it is Their Story... and they WILL BE HEARD.

If my Posts on the Chrysalis School are "Defamation" or can be Proven to NOT Be True and Factual... then let's take it to court - lots of them as it will take awhile to find an Honest Court in Montana Based in Law and Fact and not on Favoritism, Politics, Opinion and Good Ol' Boys and Gals...

The Chrysalis School owners have not emailed me a statement, not sent me a Cease and Desist and Not sent me any Legal Litigating paperwork in attempt to Sue Me over my posts on the Chrysalis School... ... I Guess they simply want to Scare the Parents in to Shutting up the Kids and want to Spread the word on who they think I am and What they think my Motive is... instead of Fixing the Problem, making it right with these woman and hearing them...

Some folks seem to think that the Solution to the Chrysalis School information I get is to Simply Shut me Up... see if you can Stop this Investigative Blogger, Shut up this New Media News Source then it will just go away... instead of dealing with the issue . .. the problem .. hearing these woman and making it right by them... well many think the answer is in Blaming the Messenger and Simply Ignoring the Message Completely. I mean surely some completely un-related Blogger named Crazy Crystal Cox is responsible for what goes on at the Chrysalis School and surely she is making this stuff up and if not then the girls emailing her are making it up and there you have it.. disCredit the Message Quick before it Really Is NEWS...

What Does the Chrysalis School say when they get Emails or Calls about my Blog... Do they say I am an Ex-Disgruntled Employee? of Course I have never Worked there...

Do they say I am a local Blogger mad about Local ... Whatever... and so I am just mad and making this stuff up... do they say well she was writing about these local Rapes last year that never really happened and well she is mad and this is her revenge... I have heard it all by now.. and the Simplest Answer is the Best folks.. and the Truth IS... I am a blogger,Like a Newspaper except my information tends to be a bit more Fact Based.... I don't know these women or the owners of the Chrysalis School - I had heard stories for years before I was blogging and last summer when a "Runaway" was trying to get to her parents and I heard the story first hand from the folks who picked her up ..

I simply put a post asking if anyone had opinions on the Chrysalis School or had any information on what I was hearing... and well they did... I was Chatted, Emailed, Called and sent things in the Regular Mail... so I Posted it.. NEWS... it is NEWS.. kind of like a Statement from the NEWS...but without the Deletions, Cover ups, and Fixes... this is Not My Story... These Girls had what was very Real Experiences to them and well in the last two weeks it seems they are really talking about.... from my stats and other things I watch on my sites.. I can see that they are talking about all this...

Also I get emails from Mothers, Calls from Teachers... What do I do .. Just Shut the Posts off and take away their Voice based on some Version of Reality that Does not Feel right to Me? I believe these women had very real experiences, I personally do believe they were mistreated, I do believe the stories of the ball games and the "too friendly" behavior - I certainly have a right to believe what I want.. and So Do you.. So the Stories of the Chrysalis Girls will Stay on My Blog.. and may be posted on other Blogs of mine... they have a Right to Be Heard... Period...

I sure do get sick of the Newspaper Lying, taking pieces of facts and printing them as News... many know it is not to be taken as real news ... yet the paper makes a living at it.. has No Liability or Accountability and Me who is Posting the Truth ... well I get Constant Attacks from ALL Sides... The Truth is the TRUTH regardless of Who Believes it..

Many Stand up for the owner of the Chrysalis School, however I see no one that is there all night.. for years on end come forward and say the Girls emailing and Mailing me their Story, Calling me about their Story ... they don't come forward denying the Story..

So Whatever the Truth is only the Hearts and Minds of those Involved Really Know... but for Me I could not sleep at night if I Denied these Women a Voice.. Sorry..

""I too witnessed thorough emotional abuse and neglect, not just of myself but other girls at the school. I have been considering pressing charges, however, after reviewing the Chrysalis paperwork which my mentally disabled legal guardian signed under pressure, I did not feel as if the case was worth it unless we made a class action lawsuit.

Some examples of the horrible things these "caregivers" have done:

I went to the doctor several times for strep throat, as throughout my life I have had a very poor immune system due to several hereditary reasons. Yet every time I said I was sick, I would be questioned about the authenticity of my sickness, and had to essentially beg to be taken to the doctor.

Once I was coughing so hard that I threw up, and fellow girls told me that I was faking it, and "counselors" backed them up. Another time we were on a 660 mile forced bike trip, and I was coughing up blood, and was accused by the owners of the boarding school of "faking it" or "doing it on purpose" so that I wouldn't have to ride for a day. I was diagnosed with bronchitis several times during my stay at Chrysalis, by doctors.

I was also forced to run/exercise in cold conditions while having doctor-diagnosed strep throat, asthma, hay fever, and bronchitis while at the boarding school. I was forced to lift hay and work with horses as "chores" despite the fact that it made me break out in hives, and often caused asthma attacks.

Since I have left the boarding school, I have run marathons on my own and not had any of the lung problems I had at boarding school.

This leads me to believe that the conditions I was running in due to Chrysalis greatly influenced my health in a negative way. Kenny, who is in control of the running part of the school (5 days a week, 2-8 miles a day) has absolutely NO QUALIFICATIONS in coaching running. Which might explain the superfluous amounts of injuries which took place among the student population, including: shin splints, broken ankles, asthma, sprained ankles, hip problems, joint pains.

Many of these issues were dealt with similarly to my strep throat-- girls were faking it, until they were taken to the doctor and proven to be seriously injured. One must wonder how many of these injuries could have been prevented had they been addressed from their initial onset.

I was forced to clean the car as a chore, in freezing temperatures, multiple times because Kenny imagined I had "missed a spot" on the car. He made me do it over and over again. I had recently tested positive for strep throat at this time.

Another time I was picked up from an LCHS cross country trip, and punished for doing something wrong by having my right to eat food taken away from me for the day. Food is heavily monitored and controlled by the boarding school, and used as a form of terrorism and punishment.

The staff discriminate upon which girls are allowed what portions of food often based upon unrelated bias, or on their weight. Often the boarding school owners would let someone small and petite such as myself eat multiple portions of food, yet another girl who perhaps weighed more or they were feeling angry towards would only be allowed one portion.

Chrysalis has also indirectly spied into former Chrysalis girls private facebook accounts. In one of these instances, they emailed the girl's parents in response to her private account information, and keep in mind this is AFTER she had left the school. Why would they do such a thing? Completely inappropriate and seemingly of malicious intent. ""

They also demonized me after I left the school. They told all of the girls not to talk to me, and let them spread rumors about me (and other girls) after we had left. They told community members private information.

They attempted to get me fired from my job, to prevent me from being able to rent, and to tarnish my reputation. How can they be said to have the girls' best interests in mind if they turn against us as soon as we stop paying them?

Many of the girls who have "graduated" the boarding school are doing just as poorly as before they went into the school, if not worse.

This is not always the case; some girls have gone on to flourish. But I wonder if it is more related to the girl's personality as opposed to the influence Chrysalis has had upon them.

I have seen an equal number of those who RAN AWAY from the boarding school, or left early, succeed as I have seen those who were deemed "ready for the real world" by Mary and Kenny.

At the very least, I feel that schools such as this should be under supervision and control of an independent, third party panelist of therapists, rights activists, and parents as opposed to letting them ruin any more young girls. "'"
